Most conservatives have nothing against legal minorities from any country.
Just have to step in here; while a lot might not, I wouldn't go as far as to say that 'most' have nothing against certain minorities. We really just have to look as far back as earlier this year; at North Carolina; to see how that isn't even a Trump thing necessarily.
And yes, the problem isn't -exactly- Trump... but he's been making very worrisome comments and actions(like putting people who have conflict of interest at the top of his team???). And all the people he's appointing, like Bannon and
Pence. And all the just unsettling stuff I've been hearing about, like registries and such.
But I don't see how just
accepting things will help either? Like, yes, we can't count on what he says(and that's sort of troubling in its own way...), but... Why should people who are rightfully worried just be quieted with a "let's just see how things go" sort of response, when that tactic is just looking like it's going to be leading into a further downward spiral...?
It just feels as if no-one learned from history, even though I can't seem to pinpoint
why I get that feeling.
