From my research in the XML, the Bioncle Products, and trying on my brother's account, I am positively sure that if you click on either
Berix or
Tarix's product page's thornax each day you will receive either the ancient spear fragments 1, 2, 3 or red pearls. You get a 16.6% chance of receiveing one of the fragments and a 50% chance of receiving red pearls.
