Huh. I live out in California, and I want to visit the East Coast. My dad goes to D.C. a lot (he works for the Department of Commerce right now), but I've never had a chance to go with him due to scheduling conflicts. I've managed to visit Disney World in Florida, but I haven't really gotten to see the rest of the state.
