Writing an essay on the "Truth In Campaigning" Act. Even though it was overturned 4 years ago, my ConLaw teacher wants us to ignore the First Amendment issues that the Act arose, and write why the Act was constitutional/not.

Its messed up, it really is. Congress thinks they can regulate "anything pertaining to interstate commerce", which is a lie according to Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution
