bizzare.

first off uninstall java, run this >link<  and then reinstall java.

if you're still having issues, uninstall minecraft, open run, type %appdata%, delete the .minecraft folder, and reinstall.

past that... IDK.

i've ran minecraft 1.1 on an atom netbook running xp, and it ran just fine, though it was horrifically slow, so i know its not system requirements.
