To make a long story short: If I want to open a branch at Eurobricks, it needs to have stat systems for fairness, ESPECIALLY considering how noob-ish a lot of the new members tend to be about roleplaying games.  There's a new user there now (I shall not name names) who exemplifies the sort of behavior I'm talking about.  Now imagine the kind of stuff he'd get up to WITHOUT stats and such rules to restrain him, and the kind of temper tantrum he'd likely throw if a mod had to restrain him.  Too much for me to deal with as a solo GM.   Stats (at least partially) keep people like that in check until they either leave or mature.  (The latter of which is, of course, the preferable option.)

And, I really would appreciate you checking it out and joining us for this test, just because I value your opinion so much.  Once a system is actually in use, I can hopefully find out what's working and what's not, and what I need to change to suit Star Trek and the PCG better.

I'll help out as much as I can without the writeboard for now, and help out even more hopefully when I get back to my normal computer.

Removing the non-combat stats is a good idea, as I don't know if people would like to have dice dictate every single move(This is actually a very large discussion over on BZP, though it's a similar situation to here for now.); but combat... I think I might have some stuff, if you want dice-based combat. It wasn't too hard to figure out, but then again, as I said in the discussion topic, I've played many Video Game RPGs, so I'm used to stuff that's more complex than not. =P But, this is a pretty basic one.

The most amazing thing just happened in Half-Life 2.

I was standing on a semitransparent catwalk that bullets can pass though. An enemy below me blasted me a couple times with a shotgun, then ducked around the corner to reload. While he was around said corner, I climbed down to his catwalk. When he ran around the corner, before he noticed me on his area of the catwalk, he glanced up.

It was incredible.

I guess it could be considered that. I'm partially hesitant to rebrand it again, everything we focus on dies(MLN, LU), and I don't think anyone would want another dead favourite. =P So, it's safer just to have a general place. =) Getting LEGO discussion would be nice, though.

But if you think about it, Bionicle only takes up one child board in one board in one section of boards. LU takes up an entire section of boards.
