Hmm, cheap mice are more then enough IMHO. I got the cheapest mouse available and it works fine for Skyrim.

Cheap mice work. I can back Rakoua up on that. They're fine, just take care of it and don't let it fall into a bad condition. Gaming Mice/Keyboards are unnecessary, if you want better stuff for gaming you want stuff that will actually make a difference. For example, a graphics card.

Accidentally. The amount of times I've dropped it would turn a macbook into a long piece of aluminum foil. I've had only minor damage to the outer shell of my Thinkpad, mostly scratches.

One of the people in my class dropped his Mac 1 foot and its HDD broke. My computer was never on when it fell though. Having the drive rotating while the laptop falls is dangerous.
