Everyone everywhere is asking the same question. No-one can come up with an answer. =P

For me, the biggest problem is that they removed the clamshell function, which reduces portability and the like. And since none of the circle pad pros will fit, what about the second circle pad? THey didn't even think about that, I guess...

I'm not sure what's more surprising: the 2D screen or the non-foldable slate-like design.
It sounds like a joke the first time you hear about it.   All I can say is this is perfect for younger children. It's cheaper, sturdier, doesn't have the troubling 3D effect that parents think will make them cross-eyed and probably has better battery life.

The battery wouldn't be any better than it is on the current systems with 3D off, unless they made improvements in the meantime.
