The original welfare system, Aide to Families with Dependent Children, was intended to be a TEMPORARY stopgap measure to assist families getting back on their feet.
Today, we are seeing THIRD GENERATION welfare teens having their OWN babies, thus making a 4th generation...

We need to reinstitute a time limit on payments, limit them to cover the children in the home whe first applied, reinstitute vocational education for welfare mothers, enforce child support payments by fathers, and make it easy for people to get OFF welfare, instead of making it easy to get on and hard to get off.
