A little. I ran the scan like you said, but it couldn't find anything. There's multiple users on the computer I use, all family members, but it only affected my profile. But, it seems gone now.

virus scan or CWscan? virus scans often miss CW cookies.
and it is reasonable if it only affects you, if only your profile is infected.

@MJ - u should use it. Tongue

@ HC - see if u can help me - when i ran ccleaner after 2 hours of surfing today - it was over 15 minutes and it still had start menu prefetch data clearing - the bar at the top was moving , but otherwise it was locked up. i couldn't even close it ! i have ccleaner to set to run on startup. help?

if you're asking about CCleaner, it is a program that remves temp files. (however, you need to be careful about what you select for cleaning, one person lost Word! I've never lost anything major, just a shortcut or three)
