the story:
so, about 14 years ago, (I only know this story by word of mouth) my mom's going somewhere, dad's doing something in the backyard. She's waiting for him, and hears, “be right there”. Dad almost trips over a log, which wasn't there a minute ago. He looks at it, and goes “oh ****!” - its not a log, its a snake, stretched across the entire backyard, and its coiling. Dad is right by the shed, so he pulls out the lawnmower. The snake is now coiled, and it jumps straight at him. Dad tilts up the turned on lawnmower, and the snake straight into the blades, showering him and the entire yard with bloody snake bits. Mom, nor quite mad because they're late, hears the lawnmower, she goes over, and sees dad (and the yard!) covered in blood. Some of the larger chunks were supposedly still twitching.
