because i had all the others used up.
and my computer's kinda hard to get to the back of
only reason i plugged the first one in was because i had already taken it out to bump up the ram to 4 GB (in xp terms that's 3.1
) so i'd had the mini-usb in for a day already.
i need to do maintenance because one of those HDDs (the oone that's not corrupted) recognize as a system drive, not external drives, and act like part of the system. that means everything the corrupted one transfers has to go thru my primary drive first, AKA the one that is actually part of my computer. and 40 gigs of corrupted files leave a LOT of stuff behind.
and i'd love to hear those easier ways.
