I used to be an Nvidia fanboy, but
a: I like the Catalyst Control Center, and
b: AMD's Radeon HD 7970 is the fastest GPU there is. (Next, let's see if AMD can make a decent CPU

)
a) personal choice. i find it vaguely annoying and entirely unused on all computers i've used it on. maybe if i had an ATI card, and was a gamer.....
b) theoretical, on-paper speed does not always equate to real-world performance. I havn't used any of the super-high end Radeons, but i've found a slightly weaker GeForce gives pretty much equal performance, with less hassle. ATIs are a pain to get working right, Nvidias are an install-and-forget (unless there's something you
want to mess with)
b-2) yeah, AMD CPUs tend to disappoint.

Look, mtm, you're my pal. But frankly, I think it would be pretty easy to replace you with MsRR's computer.

no dell, especially a microsoft one with ATI hardware, could ever compare to me
