a midrange GeForce Kepler GPU + ivy bridge iCore = a fairly common top of the line ultrabook/ultraportable.
they like to pair dedicated GPUs with HDDs, getting a 500GB one won't be hard. of course, if you went with a SSD your PC would last MUCH longer, but a 512GB SSD will peg on a few hundred $$$ more. if you could live with a 256 you get the best of both worlds.
8 GB RAM is standard, as is WiFi b/g/n
$1500? ok, yeah, its doable =P
if you are willing to go a bit bigger/heavier (more towards the DRC side of things) you'll save some money. all depends on how much battery life means to you.
so yeah, what you want, they exist.
