The worst thing ever just happened
There was a defect with the 2008 Penryn MacBook Pros that made the cable connecting the upper casing to the mobo move, which could be easily solved by applying pressure. So I did. And it worked, for a little while.
But now it's not working. I can't use my trackpad or keyboard at all. Power button still works, for some curious reason.
That'll set me back $150 for repairs... It's a simple DIY job, but that is an expensive part.
