One can't stick around forever. People have lives, people must move on sometimes, so we must find a way to encourage new users to join, a whole lot of active new users, ready to slowly replace us when we all eventually have to go forever. Because it happens, and it's inevitable, whatever the cause, such as a job, new responsibilities, or anything else.
