Bloody communists on EB keep trying to nerf me. *******s.

Let me ask you something. If someone has, without taking advantage of anyone else (and in fact offering MORE than fair prices for the goods paid AND trying to help them and the community in wide-reaching ways) found a way to optimize their build so they can minimize or eliminate some of their weaknesses, should the system be changed just because they've worked tirelessly to work around it?
What if that "weakness" is a lack of money?
I understand the logic of the nerf they're making to Rogues in general. It's still not fair to those people who picked Rogue for the money and are getting the rug pulled out from under them, but no one cares about that because they're Rogues, so we have to put up with **** because we have money-making abilities
at all. (Never mind the fact that we turn around and invest the majority of our money into items and consumables
specifically to help the other players, even at our own expense.) But people
still keep pouting about my Overkill Gloves because I optimized my build to make good use of them. Blast it, I worked
hard to make my build as good as it is, not to mention the ridiculous price I had to pay for the gloves themselves, and to get flamed and yelled at for it isn't fair.
What's also irritating is that the guy who brought it up is the one who made gold-earning "broken" in the first place--he's the one who, instead of springing for things to help other players, invested everything into his gear to make him an OP offensive monster. Half the points in favor of "ZOMG gold-earners are OP" are valid ONLY because of him and his __. And yet he gets to ruin the system for everyone else. (And it's not the first time he's done it.)
It's like if the government had looked at computers in the mid-2000s and said "OK, from now on, computer companies have to give 40% of their income to the government, and they still have to pay taxes on top of that, oh and Apple, we know you've built your company around your brand, but you have to pay the 40% on your Apple-branded non-computer products as well." I mean, yes, it's Apple, but that doesn't mean they deserve to be penalized THAT heavily just because they stumbled upon a successful strategy.

EDIT: Seriously? Did the swear filter get pushed to BZP standards? Because I self-filtered that whole thing to what's been acceptable previously and I still found a LOT more stars than I had put in.
