I've been following Luni Server,
https://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/luniserver/viewforum.php?f=3, it's a LU emulator. Still in early stages of development though.

Monk is absolutely hilarious XD
School starts in one month. Who's excited?!

So I can personalize the recommendations, please answer the following three questions:
What genres do you like most? (Giant robot, mystery, drama, horror, ecchi, sci-fi, comedy, etc)
Are you OK with Japanese with English subtitles, or do you need it to be dubbed in English?
Of the anime you've already seen, what was your favourite? (Or top three?)
I'm not too big of a fan of mystery or ecchi and I absolutely can't deal with horror XD (I've tried so many times though)
I'd obviously prefer English dub, but I don't mind reading sub really; having to read doesn't subtract from the experience IMO.
I haven't watched much anime in the past. FullMetal Alchemist is one that I really enjoyed, Law of Ueki was pretty decent, Avatar the Last Airbender was great (although I know many don't consider that anime).
I watched the first season of Naruto before I lost interest and One-piece was a series that never caught my interest if listing dislikes helps.
Thanks in advance for any help

"Obviously"? Actually, the majority of "hardcore" anime fans will flat-out REFUSE to watch dubs (I personally watch both).
Well, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is infinitely better than the original, Black Butler is one of the best ever (but it has definite horror elements for several episodes)...If you don't mind profanity, Black Lagoon is pretty awesome. Cowboy Bebop is a classic (I personally don't have much of an opinion on it, I prefer Samurai Champloo)...If you can handle subtitles, Tales of the Abyss is one of my favourites. Durarara!!! is quite good, but has some horror elements whenever Saika shows up.
Death Note is amazing as long as you don't mind suspense.
If you like the Magical Girl genre, Vividred Operation is great (definite ecchi though, and subtitled only), and Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka (Is This a Zombie? in English) is an awesome parody of the genre. (Basically, male lead is murdered, revived by a mysterious Necromancer, who then moves with him. He is then attacked by a Magical Girl with a chainsaw. He accidentally absorbs the Magical Girl's powers and has to take over her duties, complete with frilly pink dress, until she regains her powers. She also moves in. Then Seraphim the Vampire Ninja moves in. This is all in the first three episodes. )
And if you're OK with watching something that no human can ever hope to make sense of, the 4-episode FLCL is very...unique.
EDIT: And I somehow forgot to mention Gurren Lagaan, despite MSRR talking about it earlier. Shame on me.
