Yeah... =/ Though, at least its team hasn't disbanded, totally changed focus, or totally written off the project... =/ Plus, I think someone said maybe next console? Still too long of a wait, I agree, though... =/ The GBA game doesn't cut it, either, because it's better on the consoles from what I've seen. xP
From what I understand the company that designed F-zero (And Super Monkey Ball, for what it's worth) is no longer existent xD
So it's pretty bad. Keeping hopes high though. It really was the designers that made the game so great. Went the extra mile with everything.

They really did go all out with GX, definitely one of the greatest racing games ever.
Amusement Vision did disband but the employees still work at Sega and they'd be willing to make another F-Zero game; they're just waiting for Nintendo to contact them...
Also just get Nintendont and the Homebrew Channel on your Wii/Wii U to play GX (since the price jumped from $15 to $40+ for it) you won't regret it.
