Does anyone have ideas for what to talk about during intermissions. I'll be commentating a card game and recently realized I don't have a plan for what to talk about in between rounds.
Happy St Paddy's Day!! Slainte!
Hope you had a good one

Sounds fascinating! Unlike many people, I've never actually changed my major since I entered college. This is not descriptive of my personality, though, because typically I start things and change my mind frequently throughout the project. I'm glad you enjoy math, because I do not. Fortunately, biology doesn't require too much math, although it some areas it does. It just depends on the field, I suppose.
I would say biology is very multi-purpose, perhaps even more than engineering, but I don't know. I could go a lot of different directions with it, and like you, this has me a bit worried!

Another thing is that my main college only offered "gen biology", which is kinda lame, but it's a really small university. However, I don't think I would have changed anyways, or if I did I would have gone "bio Chem" or "molecular biology" or some such.
My dream job is one that allows me to help keep the environment clean.
What about you?
I don't have time to change my mind about projects since the due dates always sneak up on me =P Except for coding projects. There's wayyyy too many options with coding. But sometimes professors give us very few guidelines in order to allow creativity, such as our old wobbler air engine project.
The Worry is real, but at least it's not lonesome, haha!
Ideally I would like to do research in the application of magnetism/electromagnetism. This will likely result in me going into the power industry, which is not a very narrow field on its own. I could be working on automobiles, minimizing electricity waste, transportation of energy, power plant design etc.
I just don't want to get stuck with microchips or coding fields, but even my professors have said they didn't really know what field they would end up in at the time XD
