After sentience, the next step is sapience. What is the line between non-sentience and sentience, and then non-sapience and sapience?
All things sapient are sentient, but not all things sentient are sapient.
You know what? Disregard the above sentences. I suppose that when an AI is inevitably created, it would be sapient but not sentient - it would be able to think and reason, but not feel.
Sentience is the ability to feel and perceive things, sapience is the ability to reason. IMO, it is not AI Sentience that we should be afraid of, but AI Sapience without sentience.
