Heeeey who wants to trade w/ me so I can get that second master ball?

What do you need a second masterball for? Everything in BW can be caught quite easily. The only runner can be caught within 10 minutes at night if you have a pokemon with False Swipe, as you just go back and forth between a route and a city and wait for the weather to change.

I would trade with you, but I still have no wi-fi (working on it).

@Blade: Leavanny is cool in design, but really only has one set: Swords Dance, Slash/Return, Leaf Blade, X-Scissor. It's STABs aren't great, but the sword blade theme is cool (it would be awesome if it got Secret Sword).
If you get White or Grey(when its released) you should do a bug-themed run through with Leavanny, Scolipede, Accelgor, Escavalier, Galvantula and Volcorona. Usually a bug run through would be hard, but all six of these bugs are capable (Excavalier wants a better movepool, but still).

I might try it; and it'd basically be like my current playthrough of FireRed... Use Starter until I get Bug type; farm for EXP somehow; own people. =P

And yeah, but any usage of Leavanny would be ingame, so I'm not too worried. =P

I plan to try a themed run through of some sort when Grey comes out. Either a bug theme or something else, like stage 3 pokemon, but only their second evolution stage (Fraxure, Zweilous, Boldore, Gurdurr, Palpitoad, starter).

Ingame would be fine, or battling in a tiered format where Leavanny could potentially shine.

... that's unfortunate. I understand why Nintendo does this stuff, but I really wish that you could play through an entire game and unlock everything without resoting to wi-fi or local wireless...

Well, they've been pretty good up to this point; as there is a reason not every Pokemon is in every version; but they seem to have gone out of their way this gen to make things inaccessible to those who don't have a friend with B/W right next door to you... With the Entralink(Though I was lucky there), and now the musical items.

The reason is so that they can make 2 or more games, and make you interact, but with 1 game they'd sell just as many copies, I think... oh well.

Ah, but then why would you trade with anyone? That's the whole thing; and given that it's a game that's made for Japan, where getting together in person is actually, you know, heard of... It makes sense that there are two versions, even though everyone wishes for only one version.

/EDIT: THIS JUST IN! There is actually a giant robot underneath the Unovan regions. And I don't just mean Unova, I mean it's bordering places too.

What; you never wondered why there were so many bridges to and from central Unova? Or noticed that Castelia City is actually a right hand?

You'd trade because its easier to get a lv 100 pokemon that way... maybe. I was gonna say trade to evolve stuff like Machoke and Boldore, but that defeats the purpose of one game...

1. Well, technically the combo EXP+++ pass power/Lucky Egg in B/W provides pretty much the same effect, but it definitely does help... And ironically, the first L100 Pokemon I have is my traded Lilligant. =P

Gonna have to try and get katie to L100 soon...

2. The right hand's connected to an arm. Follow Route 4 up until the split, and you'll see that it's connected to the upper reaches of Unova, but the right and left sections, including southern Unova(Where you start), are all disconnected to Central Unova.

I definitely suspect a giant Golurk. =P

Hear what? About the whole 'Central Unova is an arm' thing? Well, first it was a comment on another forum, however, I looked at a map, and sure enough, Castelia City looks like someone's right hand... And the routes above it look like an arm.

So, I was leveling up a Wurmple so I could get my Beautifly and Dustox in the Pokedex quickly.  Then I run across a female Ralts.  Woot!  So I decide to check out the natures of my male and female Ralts.  My male Ralts is Modest with Synchronize, while the female is Jolly with Trace.  Their stats are identical, except the female has 1 more hit point and 1 more point of Attack (both are at Level 4).  So, here's my dillemma: which one should I train?  If I train the male, I'm obviously going to keep the female for breeding.  Which means finding another Ralts for the trade for Seedot.  Now that's not necessarily bad, as while looking for a spare Ralts I might find a Seedot (maybe even a female!), but if I decide to train the female, I'll likely trade away the male.  What do you all think I should do?  (Keep in mind, this is an on-cart Emerald playthrough, no Mystery Events, no trading with Ruby/Sapphire (possibly FR if I can figure out how to trade with VisualBoyAdvance), so a Psychic-type early in the game is a boon to me.)

I would just keep searching; if you found two, you'll find a lot more. I know I did. =P

Yeah, especially because I plan to get everything I have (except maybe my starter) evolved before I move on, a 5% encounter rate is not that bad.  OK, yeah, now that I looked up Natures again, Jolly is a TERRIBLE choice for a Ralts--it boosts speed, but lowers Sp. Attack (the Ralts family's most-used stat).  Modest, on the other hand, lowers Attack (a worthless stat for most Psychic-types) while boosting Sp. Attack.  Yeah, I'll just grab another Ralts and (hopefully!) find a female Seedot while I'm at it! *crosses fingers*

The only Ralts Chain member that could make use of Jolly, and since you aren't planning on migrating it to gen 4... Yeah, you're not getting any real use out of a Jolly Ralts. =P

It doesn't even have Synchronize, which means I can't use it to nature-search for Jolly Pokemon of other species!  Yeah, if I can catch another female, it's gone.

BTW, any particular reason you haven't changed the calendar from the HG/SS release date?  Maybe you could put something like, I don't know, the Zoroark release event?
