no unusual noises when it freezes, it just stops and I cant do anything.  Ive tried pretty much everything.  I just sent an email to nintendo customer support.  So hopefully they know a fix or can fix it for me.  Im pretty sure the game is the problem, not the ds, cuz I can play other games without any problems.

Hmm... Did anything seem off about the game before that? =/ And have you tried any other games recently? I'm just trying to narrow it down here. And probably an attempt at blowing it would help in case it's a case of rogue dust.

nothing weird previously in the game, its was kind of random.  Ive been playing the world ends with you since I havent been able to play plat, and its working fine.

Alright red, here's what you do.

First, you carefully remove the Action Replay from the DS cartridge...

I called nintendo and they confirmed that the gamecard for my game was defective and they are trying to repair it, or they will send me a new game.  could take up to 6 weeks maximum.

Do we know if Secret Bases and The Underground from D/P/P return in HG/SS? They're fun little minigames. Especially if you're having Trap Wars with your friend. =D

Underground's a big no. Secret Bases seem unlikely as I haven't heard about them, though the Safari Zone customization seems similar.

I think the Pokethelon is the replacement for both those and the Contests. And the Rock Smash Rocks for the underground in a way.

Got my game in the mail today, they couldnt fix it, and they sent me a new one.  I cant play it till tonight tho.  I think im going to start off with chimchar this time, and go a different route with the people I catch.

An entirely new "Pocket Monsters" series is under development for release in 2010.

This could be very epic. I don't get why they called it "Pocket Monsters" though. It's Pokemon. Even if that is just short for Pocket Monsters.

But...If this is something new...not just another Gen, but something more...=DDDD

Pocket Monsters is the technical term for Pokemon in Japan. The games and manga at least are all labeled under that title.

...The US market is trying not to scare children by saying Pikachu's not a monster. xD

Went down to GS and got my Pkachu-colored Pichu. And preordered my copy of...

HeartGold.

I'd been leaning towards SS this whole time, but I decided to go with HG because A. It has better version-exclusives and B. I was mainly into SS for Lugia, but you can get a level 70 Lugia in HG.
