Blaziken's just shy of 30, Grovyle's just shy of 39 I think.  Double-kick will decimate Slaking, since it's super-effective, gets STAB, and hits multiple times; I'll Bulk Up in the "warm-up" turn, then Double-Kick it to kill it.

My advice; bring along an unneeded Pokemon; use it to revive everyone. That's what I always do.

Unless you're doing a Nuzlocke at the same time. Then you just have to hope that things don't go badly. =|

I don't think Flipz is doing a nuzlocke based off how he catches pokemon like seedot in emerald. =P Though I am not sure if you can do this in nuzlocke, I generally save before the battle so I can restart if I need to rethink my strategy or if I get critical hitted a ton (which is far from uncommon).

It seems like black 2 is a direct sequel of black, and white 2 of white, based main characters in both games. This time you can access both black city and white forrest in both games, and there are not too many other large differences. Though I want a more modern world so I will probably do black 2 first, I will end up doing both eventually.

So what eeveelution are you planning on getting, if you are planning on getting one, and what do you think of the challenge/assist mode?

2. Oh, it is. However, you need to link with another game to access White Forest in Black 2, and vice versa. =P

I forgot the part where you needed both games, a side effect of speed reading serebii =P I also will probably get glaceon, in part because I think most people will get umbreon or magic bounce espeon, and it is something different. Though that magic bounce espeon is very tempting.

I always plan out my team/movesets, and my team idea so far is lucario, zoroark, espeon/glaceon, zangoose, drifblim/gliscor/crobat/some-pokemon-with-fly, and stunkfisk. I generally try to avoid type overlaps and try to get both fly and surf in. I also may change my mind and use only pokemon like stunkfisk, for more of a challenge and to play through a different way than normal.

I also may try an eeveelution team, but going without fly for some parts or the game is going to be a pain, if I go the eeveelution route.

Aren't there seven Eveelutions, though?  Which one would you have to give up?

Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon, Glacegon.  Yep, 7 Eveelutions.  If I had to pick out one as being somewhat less useful than the others, I'd have to go with Flareon, since it has such a limited moveset, but then again if you're going Eveelution-only...

...wait, are you going to be getting them as normal-ability Eveelutions, or are you getting Dream World abilities for them all?  Is straight-up Evee available from Dream World with its Dream World ability?

I would probably give up umbreon, due to it being much worse in-game than any of the others, even flareon. It is not too great in competitive/battle subway, compared to espeon, jolteon, vaporeon, or even leafeon in the sun, though that is not a huge concern to me.

And flareon has a great 130 attack, even though it's movepool is limited, and 95 special attack isn't too bad, especially in-game. Umbreon had 65 attack and 60 special attack, and defensive pokemon are not too useful in-game, or even the battle frontier/subway. Mean look baton pass is a very cool idea, though I don't think I will be doing a team like that.

And as far as dream world abilities, ice body vs snow cloak on glaceon is very irrelevant, for leafeon I want chlorophyl (this one could go either way), espeon magic bounce, and the elemental stone evolutions the non dream world abilities. You get dream world abilities from hidden hollows, though I could easily just skip that and make leafeon have leaf guard.

Two are only available post-game; the rest are feasible, if you wish to spend hours catching 6 Eevees at Castelia. =P You could just swap out the Eevee for a flier.

Also, I wish that my base Black City had evolution stones. It had it for a little while, but my Black City reverted to base state after not being played for months. =/ Bad, because I'm starting to evolve all my Pokemon, specifically all the old Pokemon from Kanto and so. xD

Though, that's lucky: I can just migrate from HGSS, if I really need to. =P

I may trade the stones in via pokemon white. How early do you get to castelia in white 2/black 2? Is it before the daycare?

I... Actually have no clue where the Day Care is in Black 2 and White 2. 0_o I'd assume they'd've moved it, since you don't get access to Skyarrow until the post-game, but...

But you get to Castelia around the same time you do in Black/White 1, from what I've read.

If I recall correctly, you have to go through the sewers to get to where you find eevee, and the sewers aren't accessible until later. I am not sure how I am going to do it, or if I even now. I may go back to the stunfisk team idea.

The Sewers are accessible right from the start; you can't even fight the gym until you go into them, from what I recall. =P

Given that Eevee was one of the earliest things located, it's definitely there. You're thinking of the gift Eevee from Fennel; that's not available until post-game, but the traditional ability Eevees are available very early on.
