I believe Vaporeon's good as a wall, but I think those are good movesets for in-game; though you'll need to trade Glaceon and Leafeon in; or at least their eggs, hatch and trade back, evolve, and then trade back again.

Ah, I see. You can get stones at the World Tournament, which is just in Driftveil. So, about when you get to catch stuff in Hidden Hollows.

Well, Espeon would be the first choice. You'd need to get the second Eevee later(And coincidentally, Fennel gives you a free one in the post-game. =P), since you can't get Leafeon early on.

I've never caught a shiny, personally. I encountered a shiny Machoke in Diamond, but I didn't really have any Pokéballs on me >___>

i'm amazed that in the over 500 hours I put into Emerald alone, I never encountered a shiny. Anyone here ever seen Pokérus? Me neither

I know I found a Shiny of something in my very original Platinum playthrough, think it was an Onyx or a Geodude.  That was on a friend's cart, though, so I didn't get to keep it.    And anyway, I was terrible at catching things then, so I accidentally killed it instead of catching it.

That's good, then. I might play Diamond later myself; I'm going to Canalave after I look all over for new places that I can now reach with surf, though, so I'm not too worried. I'll get there soon enough. And then the storyline(Or at least, what little story it has... I've been spoiled by Black and White. =P) kicks in fully.

The only regret I have, is now playing through Platinum, since the Distortion World is awesome. =D

I'm still hunting down rares.  It turns out I'm missing Jigglypuff, Skitty, and Seveiper, so I'm heading around Mt. Chimney to hit Routes 114, 115, and finally 116.  I'll pop by Devon Co. and revive my Root Fossil once I get off of route 115.  By then, hopefully Nincada will be ready to give me a Shedinja.

Also, Swarms don't happen until after Final 4, right?  Because I'm not waiting that long for these Pokemon.

Skitty's on the route you first find Nincada, though, I believe. You'll need it anyway, for a Meowth, after the E4.

Got a female Seveiper, on to Jigglypuff and a Skitty or two!

I'm considering buying a few more Repels and wandering around in the soot on route 113 for a while just to get the Black and White flutes, as well, just for my own ease of use.

EDIT: Aaaaaand realize I can't enter grass on Route 115 without Surf. -_- Oh, well, Skitty time, and it also looks like it's time to ditch a Pokemon for a few minutes so I can get Shedinja upon evolution.

I'm tempted to soft reset until I get a female Lileep, you think I should?  It seems like a good idea to me, since I really like having female Pokemon...

EDIT: So naturally, first soft reset (for unrelated screw-up--I accidentally released my level 21 Taillow rather than storing it ) I get a female Lileep. ^_^  Rash, which is kinda useless, but I don't care, it's a female, which means I can breed for any Nature I want! ^_^

  Mwahahahaha, a female Abra is finally mine!  As well as about four different males, Arena Trap is awesome! 

And yet no freaking Skitty.    I'm going to EXP Share Shedinja up a few levels and if I don't have Skitty by then, I'll wait for the Swarm.  Sheesh, those cats are hard to get!

EDIT: Blast, I can't decide whether or not to give Combusken Quick Attack.  Erm...hmm...Was kind of relying on Bulk Up before, but now...

EDIT 2: Eh, no Quick Attack for now, but I'm cheatcoding in a bunch of Heart Scales soon in case I change my mind.  Blaziken is horribly slow for some reason, and hasn't fared well against the normal Trainers in the Gym, so I may regret it, but as long as I get a turn or two to set up Bulk Up, I should be OK...

EDIT 3: OH MY GOD YES FEMALE SEEDOT WHAT.  So excited! ^_^  Nuzleaf/Shiftry is now a viable option for later, though I think Cacturne still edges it out slightly.  If it weren't for certain types in the Final Four, though, I might be tempted to run an all-Grass team now, with different sub-types for type coverage (i.e. Breloom/Sceptile/Cacturne/Shiftry etc.).

I think I'll give Norman a shot tomorrow, after masstraining Combusken to about Level 36--or I could go to 39, learn Slash, and murder stuff, but that'd ruin my sweep of the Normal-types.  I really need to get the three starters trained properly, at least one of them should be at the final stage of evolution by now, I'm a bit disappointed in myself for that, really.  Once those three are trained into little beasts of terror to burn through normal trainers, I can focus on breeding and raising my F4 team from eggs, since that seems like it'll be the only way to guarantee a decent team.
