And you have a hard time figuring out HM slaves in Platinum? 0_o I know I'm just walking into a set-up here, but... Bibarel. Best HM slave since Linoone. =P You can literally give him four HM moves, if you wish, including, I believe, Waterfall. Definitely Surf.

Bibarel/Tropius is THE best HM slave set, but it takes a while to get either of them, and at the time the Bulbapedia HM Slave article didn't list Bibarel for some unknown reason.  Ended up using a Geodude for Rock Smash and something else (can't remember what) for Cut, before I found a route where I could catch wild Bibarel.  (Because there was no way I was going to train up a Bidoof, I absolutely loathe their cry.)

Catch a Bidoof for Cut(Mute it when you use their HM moves), keep it until you get to the route after Hearthome(Which isn't that far in), catch a Bibarel, get rid of the Bidoof and teach it's moves to the Bibarel, and then keep that for eventually Surf and such.

What I want to know, is why you get the Strength HM over 4 gyms before you can use Strength. >_<

I think it had something to do with the way they shuffled around Gym orders, but I'm not sure.  Out of all the Normal-type HM moves, though, it's the most useful in-battle, though.

Oh, I agree, but you can't use Strength until after Canalave. It's like getting Waterfall in Petalburg... When you first head there. -_-

For the record, you get Waterfall when you logically should; after the 8th gym, when you can actually use it. =P

Ugh, none of the Electric-types I can actually use have decent Electric-type moves.   I need to do some hardcore training of an Electrike, looks like...

What Pokemon do you have in your party currently?

Currently I have Grovyle, Marshtomp, Linoone, Combusken, Swellow, and my Electrike-in-training.  However, I recently caught a Voltorb and Magnemite in New Mauville, so I may try them out if I get too tired of electrike training.  I definitely want to evolve electrike to a Manectric, though, just for the Pokedex.

I think at that stage, the Electrike's the best option, considering Magnezone hasn't been invented yet. =P

120 special attack and 70 speed vs 105 attack and 105 speed. both get terrible movepools in my opinion =P Magneton gets more bulk and is considerably stronger and slower. Manetric gets a much better movepool in later generations though.

If you are cool you can get a level 70someting bibarel, in whichever dpp you player, which happens to by his favorite pokemon. We even had a fan club for it's awesomeness.

What I generally do is keep my slaves in the pc and temporarily swap then out when needed.

I must be cool, then, I got a level 70 Bibarel, once. =P Then again, I plan on getting everything to Level 100 in the future, one Pokemon at a time.

Went back to Route 115 to grab 6 Kelpsy Berries that I had accidentally killed by forgetting to pick them, then saving and turning off the game for the night.  I had watered them yesterday, so I knew I needed to go back today to pick up the berries.  Walked into grass, found female Jigglypuff.  Caught said Jigglypuff.  Celebrated, and saved multiple times to make sure it'd be safe.

Walked into the grass on Route 106 to go back towards Mauville and Fortree and found a female Skitty. ^_^

Been having some good matches; just lost barely to Alku, from BZP. I saved it onto my Versus Recorder, but you need B/W/B2/W2 to watch it, so I'm just gonna explain.

I stealth rock'd on the first turn, he set up curse. He did the same the second turn, except I roared. Sent out his Excadrill; he switched, I roared again. Dragged out his Garchomp, which I took out in two hits with Ice Beam. Sent his Excadrill out again, I tried and failed to get it dead(Should've gone straight to Garchomp instead of Infernape after this move, thought I could get in a hit first.); switched to Infernape, same thing; switched to Garchomp, took it down in one hit, though it outsped me because of the Sandstorm, I assume. So, therefore, when he switched to his initial Hippowdon again, I went straight to outrage. It took him down to nearly red, but he was able to hang on, and Ice Fanged my already low health Garchomp, and won.

But it was awesome. =D

Man, that sounds epic.  I wish I had B/W/B2/W2 even more now.  Though having the game itself would still be useless to me, as I'd still not have wi-fi for it, so...

Well, I'm going to try and grab a Tropius or a Kecleon on Route 119 while I train up Electrike.  It's a rediculously slow process, though.   Also, at some point I need to grab Trapinch again and farm some more Abra from Route 106, since I really want a TwistedSpoon, plus I need more Pokemon of different Natures that have Synchronize (for obvious reasons, but especially for the Safari Zone once I get there, so I can abuse the Pokeblock system ).

I messed up one of the earlier fights, I used Stealth Rock twice; it only works once. =P You don't have a wireless router, though? It supports up to WPA 2(Trust me, I've done so. =P) on the DSi/3DS, so Black and White would work, if that is the problem. But it was rather cool; there are some good fights on Youtube from people who are better than me, and it can get rather epic, yes. =) Once I get my competitive team all to 100, then I can pull off no-holds-barred Level 100 battles again, though my team needs major redoing; I didn't really pay much attention to IVs when I made it; that's biting back now. -_-;

I see; a TwistedSpoon isn't required, but it's certainly nice to have.
