The primary proof is that:

A-frodbaggins is the only one on each of the potential dupes FL
B-frodbaggins has a bonehunter trophy mod with 2K+ Thornax,and the potential dupes only have Thornax-growing modules on their pages.

Yeah I would say Frodobaggins29 has been busted.  I just wonder what happened to frodolewa2 and 3...  I also wonder if in this case the duper is just using the dupes for Thornax or Clicks too.  Not that it matters.

This is the second time Thornax has been the downfall of a duper. Someone else identified a duper in much the same way.

I got suspicious a few days ago when I got showered with NEBs from Da_LegoBuilder.  I am cutting back on reporting dupes but when they rocket up a Top 10 list it bothers me (Currently #3 on the Sticker top 10).  Otherwise I don't really care.

Another thing that could be done to help, as suggested on MLNT, is to click the modules of others that aren't dupers.

The problem with this is that folks are probably only likely to do this in a click/click trade which limits your max clicks per day to a max of 100 at Rank 10.  My experience is folks don't generally just give clicks away.  This gives dupers an advantage that is hard to overcome.  Folks that actively run successful stores have a shot but that is about it.

One idea I had would be to have someone open up 2 dummy accounts.  One would be called "I-am-a-dupe" the other "I-am-a-duper".  Someone would then send friends requests to the appropriate accounts just to kind of say "We're watching you".  I would doubt any of the requests would be accepted but if they were all the better.  The other problem is finding someone willing to manage the dummy accounts and send out the messages.  I don't really want that job.

I don't recommend it... it is duping to discourage duping...questionable.

There's just one thing, would this work out in the open where even the dupers can see it?

I guess they answered the question, I'll ask another, why do you care who dupes and who doesn't?
   Never mattered to me, one way or the other, who duplicated their accounts and who didn't. This place and the MLN has always been to me about showing off my Lego, and if that meant drawing attention by ranking forward by getting more red bricks, then so be it.

   Yes I duped, way back when I was rank 1, clicked my tree for reds to get to rank 2 faster. That's when I was asking Robotti to be friends. After afew hours, I deleted all of the dupes and phoned Lego to appologize. They simply praised me for my honesty and told me not to worry.
    since then, on MLN, I concentrated on submitting cool models. It seems to have worked. Although, as I said in another forum and topic..."LEGO's MLN is a computer program game, designed for several purposes, to promote creativity so you have fun and buy more Lego." They monitor what we say, what we submit as models, and they don't have the resources to provide you with a conscience. That's up to you.
    My good friend MsRR has a great topic here, although I'm not as committed as she is.

It's because of people like pando, who dupe to the top of the top ten, making it not fair for those who actually play it right, because they can't get to the top without duping themselves, which starts the whole process all over again.

And for a little note, this is kinda like what happened in DRC, people got the Uberglitch and glitched to the top by abusing it, then people complained because they couldn't get there fairly, and Lego took the game down. But, since the ratio of dupes to fair people is low, and there's more, I doubt it'll turn out like DRC, or at least not any time soon.

Only 2 posts since my first post here, so I may be premature when I say this..: I'm 47 and a very successful small business man who, yes, loves builbing Lego models. I'm saying you missed my point, and this next statement may spawn a whole new topic.
   I have wanted to write these words to Lego since I found the MLN, a year after I signed up.
   The MLN may one day be known as one of the most addictive computer, online, sharing game of all time.
  Now tell me, in all honesty, who has never felt this, even for a moment. Remember, some peoples addictive personalities are stronger than others. Being that known or believed, how long will you go on dispising someone you can't control and has no power over you.
