Dogs

Dogs are my friends,
always happy and wonderful,
And with his four furry legs,
They let me know that they are thankful.

I did a feed the homeless trip with my church not to long ago so I'll do a poem about it. (Flash's earlier poem inspired me to do this one so I'll give most of the prizes.)

There we were handing out bags in the cold
To those who felt there lives had been sold
To the ones who felt odd
The ones who had not found god
We gave them water to drink
Items for them think
Though there tent city
Wasn't so pretty
They are humans like you and I
They don't deserve to die
We need to look around town
Look for those who are down
Help them to see the light
The glorious light of Christ

I'm back. Probably not for long, as I've got school stuff to attend to, and I'll probably want to get a job at some point (hopefully self-employed). But nice to see you all again anyway.

Why is it weird, everyone on the planet is getting lazy, including me, with obvious exceptions.

Thanks for trying Brickers...

Like a Singing Nightingale,
A Bubbling Brook Sings Forth.

Like a Thunderous Cloud of Storms,
A Waterfall Crashes upon the Stones.

Like a Mighty Pack of Wolves,
A Swift-flowing River Runs Strong.

Like a roaring Dragon with no Master,
An Ocean’s Waves Careen to and fro.

Like two striving giants of strength,
A Pelting Curtain of Rain Batters the Earth.

Like a Master of All Shapes and Forms,
Water is an Element with no Boundaries.

Very well. I'll try concoct something in the next five minutes... *ponders*

EDIT: Whoops, that was 7 minutes Roll Eyes
Oh well, here's a rough poem:

Remember

A sad day to ponder, a great day to remember
It happened years ago, the 11th of November
It was a gruesome war, yet we often forget
Of what happened then, when men’s lives were forfeit
So a thanks to all those, still out in the field
Every day we see - what their sacrifices yield
We pray that their souls - shall rest in peace
Every one of them, whose lives oft cease
The men in the past - and of those to come
For those in the present, with a battle to be won
