MLNO will be going through several changes over the coming weeks. We will be putting more things to you through a forum vote to decide. Much like a featured Member contest. Whenever you vote please do not just vote whichever your mouse happens to land on. Take the time and go through every option.

After much negative feedback about the tests/jokes/etc. that Blade has pulled, I have decided to put up this poll to see what you guys really feel like.

If Blade is Impeached or his position in any way changed from the one he is in there will be more voting later on to determine a replacement. We will also be voting on different moderators and how many we should have later on.

I will not be voting so as to not influence anyone in their votes. I will also close the poll when I feel necessary.

   When a person puts as much time into something as Blade has, it's only common sense that mistakes will be made in direct proportion to the efforts of the individual. Nobody is perfect. Learning curves are a life long endeavor, I'm still learning too and I still make mistakes. The only person who doesn't make mistakes is someone who never tries or J.C.
   During Blades prank, I played along and when I saw him cross the line, he quickly stepped back, when I asked him to. I also had a PM conversation with him during the RPG. I feel due to his responce, he learned something, perhaps a simple public appology and a promise to kick it back a notch or two would be more appropiate.
   No offence to the boss with the use of the word appropiate, I fear that there may be to many people who may respond in accordance with their feelings and not their logic before the dust has even settled

I don't believe so.

I, Omega Blademan, will be taking the spot of the first command of the administration. There will be some... changes. But all for the better of course.

Basically Omega pretended to take over the forum. Changed the themes (which you can see in the themes options), and sortof pretended to be a split personality or himself hacked. One member was banned. Others found themselves with the MVP award which is for the Member of the year award. Not to mention that this type of thing has happened before on several different occasions.

No offence to nwj345, but I intend to keep my post in the forefront as long as possible, to many people look at the first page and the last post and sometimes not even that much, Blade didn't loose any brownie points with me and I'll say why even more.
   When I first got here I helped start the The MLN Maniacs, during which time I said something really stupid, I made a joke about God.
It was not well recieved and to make a long story short, I left the team, deleted a couple of my teammates in MLN and didn't here from some for days.
We're all friends again and of course I appologized, right after it happened. The dust settled after several days not one.
    I'll tell you though, for a while I was crushed as well was someone else.

he is very knowledgeable about many of the things that he moderates (for example, the Pokemon topic), and, aside from the most recent scare, has a pretty good sense of humor.

Why?
Well, I made that mistake too. Blade made it once too, Ogichi was actually kinda fun...
If he is demoted, then I want to be demoted too, as when I did Arkano, I wasn't removed from the staff.
Also, he is a great admin. Whitout him, this forum would fall appart. Besides, he is a great friend even though he can act irrationaly sometimes... But still, you won't find anyone better to take his place, believe me.

I agree with Tim.  Blade has a lot of good stuff in his time as staff, and I'm not against him getting a staff position in the future.  Unfortunately this joke and the previous things with those other random japanese names were violations of the rules (no dual-accounts and pretending you're someone you're not) and drove some members to anxiety.  In this regard he seems to have become used to having this power, losing touch with the fact that he can't just do crazy pranks just because he's an admin, and I think the best way to fix that would be for him to be a regular member again for a time.

I wasn't present when chase did whatever he did, but from what I've been told, he pretended he was a hacker and gave the forum a good scare.  He was given a good thrashing for it.  I fail to see how this prank is different, regardless if it was a post-April Fools thing.
