So most of you have probably been wondering what this 'reward' I was talking about was. Well, it's probably not what you were thinking in terms of a reward... in approximately 24 hours from the time this post was first submitted, MLNO will be an official website, which means the 'smfforfree4' section will be removed, and the URL will become ' www.mlno.org'. Here is the PM I sent to SMF and what he replied with: 100,000 Posts has been reached on our forum which can be found here. For our custom domain name, we wish to have it be " www.mlno.org". If that is not available, I will consult the members of our forum and we will decide upon a different name. And one of the Admins had a question about the part where we get things coded for us; we were wondering exactly what kind of stuff, and we were hoping to get a style-switcher with a drop-down menu, because as of now, we have a bulky style-switcher using Agent Moose's SMF Code. Regards, Ab-Z Rep of MLNO Registered the domain. mlno.org in about 24 hours you should be able to park it to your forum using the domain manager. I can do the style switcher code. So one of you Admins (Blade or R8 probably) could do this, make sure it's mlno.org though. So on 4/20/09, the day of the LRC Beta ending, we will also be upgrading at around 9:00PM Forum Standard Time (Central I think). As some of you are also probably wondering what the style switcher is, it is a more compact version of our current style-switcher at the top of all pages in the header about the news box, where you will be able to choose the style you wish to use from a drop-down menu, which should speed up the forum a bit. |
