I'm currently on world 9-3
I may have finished that one, but I was going for the Star Coins and kept messing up.
But atm I'm trying to get all 3 star coins in world 8-Bowser's castle.

It's funny though, I haven't yet completed world 4. Swimming levels make me mad Tongue

And I have completed worlds 1-3 entirely.

EDIT: beat world 9-5(but not 4)...

EDIT: I officially beat the game(unlocked everything, all star coins, all of world nine... )

Niiiice ZLS =)

On an unrelated note, is anyone else here planning to get WarioWare D.I.Y. besides me? It looks like the perfect game for me-a lot of short, minigame diversions and the ability to make your own. The graphics don't have to be good, which is great for me, because I am a pretty sucky artist. =P You should've seen the character I made when I got Drawn to Life character xD THAT was a train wreck.

...what? =P It is general discussion.

So, was anyone else surprised when they found out SMG2's release date? =D

May 23 in America. Not sure when it comes out elsewhere...go to Super Mario Wiki and search "Super Mario Galaxy 2" to find it.

Well...I've been playing Super Mario RPG: Legend of the 7 Stars lately, and behind Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, this is probably my favorite Mario RPG. And that's counting the Mario and Luigi series.

Mario Kart discussion can happen here right?

only a few days until MK7 is released (though I probably won't get it until at least Christmas, as purchasing a 3ds left me broke...
the customization feature of karts seems cool, and driving underwater, on land and in the sky (that would be flying i guess (or gliding)) is diverse.
all mario kart games are cool though, so this won't dissapoint anyone (unless they miss some characters from the wii game).

Yes it can, so that is correct. =)

I want MK3D, but, well, I dunno when I'll get it. Skyward Sword probably broke my budget. >>;

so we both have similar problems... the ever present money issue...

i've read that MK7 uses controls similar to MKWii, using the accelerometer/gyroscope (whichever one lets you tilt the 3ds to control steering). hopefully this is true, as the Wii steering was incredible (for me, at least).

1. Yep. =P I have money, I just want to conserve it as long as possible, as I'm not sure when I'll get more. =/

2. I think I heard about that, which could be cool. You'd just have to tilt your head with the console, since, well, it's not on a TV like MKWii. =P

2: ... I just realized how driving like that would be annoying (although when you drive using gyro you see the game in 1st person). But tilting the 3ds with 3d on makes the image flicker due to the parallax concept of the 3D... hopefully the game works well on gyro, though, as steering that way works well on the wii.

and speaking of the wii, I went online for the first time today on MKWii. its pretty cool having an actual challenge while racing, but very frustrating when my wi-fi decides to kick me off for apparently no reason... i could only get about 4-5 races in a row before wi-fi messed up.

aaaaannd: Super Mario 3D land being my only 3ds game currently, I beat the story mode, which was relatively easy (a few of the later levels were hard, but nothing frustratingly hard). I somewhat wish the levels were larger (like SM64 or Galaxy, where there are multiple goals), but with shorter levels there are more levels.
The Tanooki suit makes the game 100x easier though. If I really want a challeneg I could try a runthrough without using the suit.

2. You just realized that? =P But yeah, I can see how it'd be easier, but it's more or less 'no 3d mode'. =P

As for the Wii one, I haven't played that yet. =/

3. Interesting; I've been thinking of getting it, myself. Is it easier than NSMB DS?

2: yes, i just realized that :p

i've never played NSMBds, so i can't comment on the level of difficulty... but in SM3DL, the level of difficulty increases as the game progresses, with the end being much harder than the beginning, but still fun to play.

2. I see. =P

3. Well, then, it sounds kinda like NSMBds, so if I ever get it, it's certainly not to be a rental. =P

3. depending on the length of the rental, I'm not sure I'd ever advise renting the game (unless you want to make sure you'd enjoy it). But for Mario Games in general, to unlock everything you need to own the game.

Mario 64 for N64 for NDS? The N64 game is possibly my favourite game of the series. The size of the game is insane, especially for a N64 game. Galaxy and Galaxy 2 were also really good games.

N64; I probably rented it about 5 times or so? And even when I got the DS version I've played it many times, and still haven't beaten it yet. xD(Though, the need for a button to run is slightly disappointing. =/)

Galaxy 2, however, was amazing. Only got to play it for one week, however. =/ Beat the game, though. =P
