1: I had the N64 game for ages and never completed it entirely (getting all of the stars). I believe I got close to getting 120 stars though.

2: You beat the entire game in a week? story mode or the entire thing (the green stars as well?).

I've beaten SM64DS 100%.  Twice.    Including catching all of the rabbits and playing all the minigames such that I beat the "built-in" high scores.

I recently beat SM3DLand, which was a relatively short game, unfortunately. Beating the levels is easy for most of the game, with a few levels (especially the last one) requiring multiple tries to beat them. However, collecting the three coins in each level is also relatively easy. There were many instances where the designers could have made collecting the coins a bit more of a challenge.
However, it is still a solid game.

MarioKart7 is a different story. The cources are really well done, especially some of the later levels. But even the new beginning levels have good designs. Steering with gyro is easy but works much better without 3D. DS style steering is easier for me and more responsive.
The selection of older courses included is good at times (Maple Treeway, Kalamari(sp?) Desert and more), but I wish they had switched some courses. I really wish they had added two tracks from Game Cube: Baby Park and the course where you only do 2 laps (Wario Colliseum?).
I also wish they had made an entire Wuhu Island track that was super long, like an endurance race or something.
The lack of a VS mode and Missions is also dissapointing. Online works well though.

I've got Mario kart 7. =D I've tried the Gyro, but, strangely, I seem to be failing more often than not. =P Gonna keep trying, however, my skills might just be rusty. =P

Anyone wants to race me, just PM me. We should really make an MLNO community. =D

gyro is fun, but not optimal for racing, imo.

2. Well, I've been getting better. I prefer the first person mode to the normal mode now, interestingly. Seems faster that way. xD

2: First person does seem faster, but the controls are harder, i find. It is a really cool function though, with 3D off at least.

online is much better than MKWii, I find, especially with the communities.

I also miss the bikes from MKWii, although Kart customization is cool and almost makes up for it.

2. Well, I like the gyroscope turning, but it's probably easier for me, since I used it pretty much since the first time I turned it on. xD I've gotten used to playing with it as a result. =P

3. Yeah, I definitely agree there. I just wish it'd keep you in the community, so you could see who had joined, and actually know if they're on or not. xP Joining yours now, though.

4. That is pretty cool. My Kart's pretty fast, and I've been using it even though I have other parts now. xD

3: Cool. and yes, if it showed who was playing in the community, or let you stay logged in, it would be much easier to find people.

3. Yeah. =/ I bet half the reason people don't race on the BZPower Community more, is because no-one ever seems to be on. xD

Okay, I'll add the MLNO battle community soon. But I haven't tried battles yet on the 3DS, so I'll have to try it out first.

If only with communities you could call out (like send a Spot Pass message) people who are playing MK7 and have them come to the community...

I finally got a 3 star ranking on all of the Grand Prix's. It was relatively easy (compared to doing it on the Wii, which I haven't done after years of owning the game). Now I need to do a ton of races to get coins to unlock everything. Unfortunately, racing computers gets repetitive, but playing online leads to Maka Wuhu races where half the people (more, usually) use the glitch to get way ahead. I hope Nintendo fixes this for online play, and if they can't maybe they'll ban that track (which is somewhat sad, because I like the Wuhu tracks...)

I switched from using my Mii as my main racer to using some more extreme characters, specifically Metal Mario and Shy Guy/Toad. Those two (three) are really different, as MM is all about speed (and weight, which is cool for not getting bumped around), while SG/T is fast starts and is good when I get hit by blue bombs a lot.

I still cannot figure out how the glitch even works, so, you won't see me doing it. =P

Basically right after the first checkpoint on Maka Wuhu you turn around and boost into the water that is behind the fence. If you have the lower screen map view on, you'll notice that the water is the same water as if you had fallen from the upper level (near the castle). The game thinks you fell from the upper level and puts you back there.

Really annoying. Especially when you do the race twice in a row online and get timed out because the other people finished 30 seconds ago...

Can't be that bad, though, because if anyone tried to do it on Time Trial, I still managed to beat them. =P

1. Try it, I did for fun. But I hate doing it online because i feel bad for those who don't do it. It apparently can get you about a 20 second distance ahead of everyone else if done right.

2. It is that bad, unfortunately. I got a spot pass time trial and one guy was way ahead of everyone else because of the glitch. I did the glitch (albeit not very well) and was still two seconds behind him.
The downside is that you lose your items by doing the glitch.

And, for #1 again: don't do this online. It ruins the track for a lot of people. If everyone does this, Maka Wuhu is gonna be a race of who can do the glitch the best (which may be interesting, but not as fun as actually racing Maka Wuhu, which is one of the better tracks on an already good game of tracks).

2. Huh. That's odd, I did a Spotpass Timetrial of it too, and yet I utterly decimated the competition, and it didn't even register one of the glitchers. Heck, I got first place on one! Though, that was partly because the one I faced at one point ran himself off a cliff, and I had used the mushrooms for a non-glitch shortcut.
