Author's note: Arche's Awakening takes place long before the Speed Galaxy Trilogy begins. You do not need to read Speed Galaxy to understand Arche's Awakening(although certain characters do appear in both stories), and vice verca. Please place all comments that are related to AA in the

Chapter One: Lox
A lone figure shining like the sun sat down on a small stone throne and opened his eyes, which gleamed with light as they searched the empty space around them. Upon seeing an old, dust covered book, the eyes shut and the book blinked out of existance, re-appearing in the light figure's hands. The figure stayed still, without moving the book at all, not even to open it.
When you create the universe, time runs as fast as you need it to. So the Lox figure did not need to act quickly to get things done. He had all of the time in the world to read the manuscript. He had in fact already read the manuscript many times over. He had also written the book.
Opening his eyes, the light figure brushed dust from the cover of the book, allowing his eyes to read over the title.

Arche's Awakening

The beginning consited only of a light that was broken time and time again by a blade of darkness. But the blade could only seperate the light. The darkness never grew, nor did the light. The light expanded as it was cut and torn, and soon enough, the darkness gained a spot purley to itself. From this single blade of darkness, or absence of light, came the figure of power. The original Lox. He was called Arche, and he was the first living being ever to set foot in the universe.
Soon after, the light was able to regain itself, and from the light came the second being, the second Lox. His name was never spoken, for he forbade Arche from ever speaking it to anyone. Over time, the name of the second Lox was lost.
The two Lox beings stayed seperated for a long time. It was not natural for the two to be together. Light and darkness naturally sperate, and so it was, that for the first ten years of their lives, the two Lox beings stayed seperated.
Year 11
In the first year that they spoke, it was Arche who allowed sound to escape his mouth first.
"I am Arche. The Lox being."
"Of course. We both know that. Even if we have not shared vocal thoughts, we have both observed one another, and we have come to know each other. Although, if you do not already know, my name is absolutely none of your business. It is obvious that you could easily enter my mind and discover my name, but if you do I shall kill you. My name, as I chose it, shall only be mentioned when the time comes. Until then, I shall be known as the Elite One, since the title by which we are known states it so. Lox means Elite One.
Arche nodded, thinking his companion's words over. Lox. Elite One. Even so, Arche would never call his companion the Elite One. It was Arche who had come first, and Arche who would be called Elite.
