Yeah. If there's one thing I know most people will agree with in my MM rant, it's that Tatl is superior to Navi in pretty much every way. =P

MM is in my top two Zelda games....the other one is TP. Majora is, without a doubt, my favorite Zelda villain.

Meh, TP would probably be my favorite too if I were to play it. I just don't feel like it becuase A.It'd be a hassle to find in stores and B. The new Zelda Wii Game is probably going to be better in every way. =P

Of the Zelda Games I've played in part or whole, I'd probably rank them:

4. The Legend of Zelda (first game...nothing against the classics, but it's old. there's newer, better games around. I'm not really someone who likes a game just because it's a "Classic" or because it's where the series came from.
3. Spirit Tracks (decent game, but...)
2. Ocarina of Time
1. Majora's Mask

Although MM may not be as innovative or "epic" as OoT, it's waaaaay more creative. The whole game is.

My top games in order would probably be:

7: aLttP/Four Swords (it was the first LoZ game I ever played)

6: Oracle Of Ages/Oracle Of Seasons (Bad graphics, cool password concept)

5: Spirit Tracks (too buggy to get a better rating)

4: Phantom Hourglass (for Linebeck if nothing else)

3: OoT

2: TP

1: MM


If Spinoffs count, Freshly Picked Tingle's Rupee Land would be in 4th place.

*swoops in* Whew...this topic was about to die.

@Blade-xD Well, Navi was the first fairy companion for Link...the prototype generally ends up being the worst model. =P

So, with Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid Other M coming out in the first half of the year, that leaves the second half wide open for Zelda Wii 2...=D

I already have 2, so I'm GTG. But it would be totally worth it even if it didn't come with MotionPlus. =D I'm looking forward to hearing about the game @ E3 this year.

And I finally got around to beating LoZ: ST. That was one of the harder final battles I've had in a long time.

Not so great. horrid touch controls (especially for Zelda), a boring final boss, exasperating sidequests...
I'd give it a 7/10, maybe 8/10 if I'm in a good mood.

I'll be quite honest, I have no idea what Hero is talking about. I know I don't have the experience with Zelda you guys do (I've actually been thinking about hunting down WW and PH and playing those) but I personally think ST was a 9.5 and DS game of the year. Very close second in M&L: BIS though.

Okay, the sidequests weren't great (although that rabbit guy was hilaroius xD) and the boss could use some improvement. The Pan Flute is a bit iffy (the game thinks I'm perpetually blowing in if I'm riding in a car) and I'm not crazy about the instant-death trains. But you could also say that the Ocarina is MM was too overused, or that Majora was bad because he wasn't Ganondorf, or that the Circus Leader Quest was pointless or the Anju and Kafei sidequest was annoying. Every bad thing the game had was, besides the trainand final boss, a small one. Plus that lava guy (I forget his name >_>) was the best Zelda non-final boss I've ever fought. =D

Yes, the bosses were awesome.
But the flute-in-car glitch alone made the game unusable for me.

If you really love Zelda games, get ST. If you can't stand glitches, don't get it.

Here's a hint to the flute 'glitch'; cars make noise, noise makes sound, sound simulates blowing. =P And the solution? Don't play in the car, much like I do. xP

The Final Boss in the game wasn't bad, and I enjoyed the amount of work it took for me to beat him. It was hard but not impossible(like other games I own).
The train was cool, but the speed of it was not. It needed a setting for it to go one speed faster.
The sidequests got repetive after a while, and I still have a few left to complete(Linebeck should be happy with 4 pieces of that garbage!)
Zelda's controls were not good at all. They should have made it so that you could control Zleda like controlling the Goron in PH(ie actually moving Zelda with the stylus and not just tracing lines.)

I never played in a car, so I never had the flute glitch problem, but I am not good at playing the flute(or blowing into the mic), so that was a downside.

Link's controls were slightly improved from PH though(never mind that swirly motion to get Link to roll, simply a double tap does the job).

Most of all, the scenery and amount of extra stuff to do in the game made this a good game, and some of the bosses were pretty creative, although easy as well.

Hey, I got LoZ: Wind Waker a week ago. Did I forget to mention that? =P It's pretty good....I'm just not crazy about the boat, and the game is pretty easy overall. The writing is the best I've seen in a Zelda game though (I just got sent by Daphenes Hyrule to do the sages thing) and I like Link's ability to use enemie's weapons, though. =D So it's not as good as OoT or MM, but still a good game overall. But seriously-NP's 4th best game of the decade? That's a bit up in the air, IMHO.
