Just looking at that final picture there... that's a lot of LEGO! I love the layout, legodac. Thanks pal, I had to send TOMBOMDOODLE a message to ask him to post here so I could share more of my LEGO experience with you all, so I wouldn't "double post".
Enough said, let's move on to bigger and better things. Like how do I begin with a train layout on a shelf that WOWS every little tyke that enters the room and simply says COOL!!.
Remember, if it moves, you're halfway there, and if it's also made out of LEGO, you'll have a new little friend, or maybe a big one.
Remember this too LEGO buddies, I'm 47 and a grandfather of 2 little boys, when I hold them in my arms viewing the active layout, nothing compares to the feeling when you look in there eyes and see that they're seeing something WONDERFULL.
OK, let me dry my eyes, I'm good now, SHELVES, hang on, it's coming soon (where have you heard that before) The first thing you need to do is figure out how many rooms, trains can go a long way, talk to Mom and Dad or your wife or husband and establish the perimitersWhat if there are windows and walls in the way? My room has tons of space but only half of it is useable. And there is no way to get the layout out of the room.
