On August 1, 2009, the American History Museum will host From Spark to Click: Celebrate National Inventors' Month.
Organized by the museum's Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation, the heart of the event will revolve around building a record-breaking 8-foot-tall lightbulb, which is the universal symbol of a big idea.
The lightbulb will be constructed entirely out of LEGO bricks and visitors of all ages will have the chance to help build this giant project. LEGO master builders will be on hand to help out with the construction.
