I'm making a new topic because the old one was messed up.  The new one will have voting by posts, not a poll.  To vote you must have one completed order at Empire's store.

Results:

Yes-3
No-5

Voting will end August 20th 12:06PM EST

His service is quick and easy, but his prices are so low that he drove other shops out of business. Nebs for only two clicks are quite low. And I notice that you buy from other shops just to sell them cheaper.

I cannot decide whether Empire should be an outstanding trader, but once I make up my mind, I will have an opinion.

I voted no because I think that you are trying to hold a monopoly over the other shops, with the discounts, it doesn't give anyone else a chance to get orders. Besides, some parts of your shop could use a change... A new format for stuff and all...
And I didn't feel too comfortable when I ordered, so the enviorment should be changed a bit.
All in all, too much room to improve for me to vote yes. And there si the monopoly thing.
So I vote no.

I have changed my vote to no, I have noticed Empire's shop seems to be draining the business out of the smaller shops.

I'm back. Probably not for long, as I've got school stuff to attend to, and I'll probably want to get a job at some point (hopefully self-employed). But nice to see you all again anyway.

I vote yes. For two reasons. One Empire buys his items from smaller shops therefore boosting there sales. (My shop for example often sells empire items), two if you don't like his shop don't buy there, because if you buy from him you are promoting his shop.

Well what I see his if you don't like his shop and think it's harming yours and others don't shop here. And buying stuff just to vote would be cheating, I think.

I vote no for all the reasons I have stated before.

Also B~T, I sell nebs for two clicks as well. I find it's rather easy to get them, thus I sell hem for little. If anyone needs a good way to get nebs, go to Ace's page. He has a couple mines that are always up.

I was going to remain neutral, but now I cannot. The trade with Empire went fast enough, though I did not feel reallly welcome.
However, afterward there were a number of pm's about my friendslist etc, that I do not think were called for. Hostile or sarcastic communication is never appropriaye, nor is rudeness.
Therefore, I must vote NO.

BTW I agree with others who have disagreed with the way Empire sometimes gets his items, but it was the way I was treated as a customer and after the sale that most influenced my vote.

@ Empire, the poll is NOT yet over
Voting will end August 20th 12:06PM EST

I vote yes, even though he might run other shops out of business with cheap prices, I'm glad they aren't expensive, in the opinion of a customer. And I get items fast 'n easy here!

FYI, nebs in my shop are 8 clicks.

-Well would you prefer buying items to sell them at a higher price or lower? Empire is dropping his profits for the sake of more business which brings more orders, and more profits, many low profits rather than little high prof's, wouldn't that sound fair?

Yeah, and I think he only cares about getting the award, every chance he gets to win it he tries.

It takes the spirit away.

Much to Empire's dismay, I vote NO.

I didn't really feel comfortable ordering in your shop, and even though you have cheap prices, it just brings many other shops out of business.

Also, the way you get items kinda is unfair...

2 yes
7 no

This doesn't look good for Empire =P

Say, is Empire the first person to put up an Outstanding Trader poll that ended up with him not getting the award?

As I stated before if you don't like his shop don't buy here! He's gonna keep seling his itemas and having this poll up and off untill the people refuse his items. That's how you really vote no.

I'll give a reason you want and then a reason I feel is appropriate, so that everyone is happy.

I vote no partly on what I've stated before.  Monopolizing the MLN economy, yadayada.  It hurts other businesses, and I feel like there should at least be minimum prices on this.  It's kind of like OPEC not putting caps on prices for gas, so that the likes of ExxonMobil, etc. can get away with selling gas for $4 a gallon, which is wrong.  Caps should be put in place.  Also, my original order was denied (though I will admit my sarcasm was being unrealistic).  However, one customer received an order, and when I requested the same order, I was denied to do that, having to take a smaller order.  I didn't like that, so I vote no.

@MsRR:  To his defense, as I recall, the poll was meant to end today.  However, because it was tied, the poll was extended.  Although, I think Tim should have posted saying so, as this made things confusing.

Voting was always meant to end the 20th.

That is a good reason to vote no and I respect your opinion to do so. I myself thought the service was good, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't for others.

(3 yes)
(7 no)   and that just proves more! kinda strange that the best shop in mlno history get DENYED THE OUTSTANDING TRADER POLL!
also, all your comments are based on monoplizing, and the feeling of shops, ive only come accross a couple of comments (people who voted yes) about the TRADING which is what this title is for, all the no voters just dont like me. dont argue its true.
