Member of the month... Star Wars: The Quest for R2D2 is out! The latest official team! Welcome to the forum... Dyehoossinigo!Issue 4 (UPDATED)
Welcome to the MLNO Newsletter!
Thanks to LordVaderRulez and Jas765 for the help with this newsletter.

Member of the Month!
Well, it was very close again this month. KZ was in the lead, then Tim, then KZ, then Tim, then they DREW on the last day! With 11 votes each, please give your congratulations to Soul Fire and KZ! Deja vous?
They will both receive the traditional +1 reputation and trophy.

LEGO Space Forum!
There is now a place to discuss the longest running theme (except perhaps LEGO Town/City)... Space! There are reviews from classic sets, by MsRowdyRedhead, General Space Discussion, Mars Mission Discussion, talk about the new Space Police Game and you can post your own reviews too. Check it out now to top up on Space.

From the Shop! New to the Newsletter!
Coming from LEGO Shop, we have the Tantive IV! At £97.85/$149.99, it's not cheap, but has 1048 pieces, C3-PO, R2-D2 and three other minifigs. Reviews from the shop say it takes three hours to build, but it looks impressive, and it's probably worth the building time and price. Personally, I'd go for the Medieval Market Village if your looking for loads of pieces at a reasonable price (1601 pieces, £67!)
Also new to the shop is a winter exclusive, the Winter Toy Shop! It's £39.15 and $59.99, and contains 815 pieces. You can build a giant Christmas tree, as well as the toy shop itself, and it comes with a light brick and seven minifigures, as well as a variety of other accessories.

Monthly Contest Winners!
The winners of September's monthly contest are...
1) MsRR
2) legodac
Congratulations! The latest contest is about Hallowe'en!

Alliance of MLN
The latest team has got it's five members and is now official! KZ runs the team, so contact him if you'd like to join. There are only three spots left!

Well, that's all for Issue 4, Issue 5 will be coming on the 16th October. Don't forget to visit the Space Month forum, and I'll see you soon!

I'm back. Probably not for long, as I've got school stuff to attend to, and I'll probably want to get a job at some point (hopefully self-employed). But nice to see you all again anyway.

Member of the month... who? Hello from LUO! A mystery is solved... Welcome to the forum... GuitarCrazyo!Issue 5
Welcome to the MLNO Newsletter!
Thanks to LordVaderRulez, Jas765 and DT - Sith Master for the help with this newsletter.

Member of the Month!
Wow, this is getting tense. DT - Sith Master and Omega Blademan were tied at eight votes each. Suddenly, a member voted for Blade, and it was nine votes to blade. DT equalized this, and now he's pulled ahead with ten votes! I honestly don't know what will happen.

Hello from LEGO Universe Organization!
If you want to get some cool new info on LEGO Universe and other games such as LEGO Rockband, you should check out the LEGO Universe Organization! Our official news reporter, D.J.M.2 finds stories not only from LEGO.com, but from top websites like gamepro, IGN, CNet and Kotaku. There is also a Member of the Month contest, Monthly Contests which have just started, and lots of discussion on LEGO in General. This isn't an MLN forum, but we have MLN Shops over there if you're interested in getting something.

From the Shop! Christmas sets!
Brickset.com says that some new winter holidays sets are out in the Lego online shop!  They are : $9.99 Cool Santa,  $4.99 Father Christmas Ornament,  $4.99 X-Mas Tree Ornament, and $4.99 Snowman Ornament.  Just go to the brickset homepage and see for yourself!
Thank you Tommy_60 for finding this out.

A Mystery is Solved...
I'll reveal this to those not in the know. Ever heard of bill_is_cool? No? That's because his name was invisible. TIM created him as a test account for the images in usernames (as demonstrated by Tim and MAELXTROM). bill_is_cool is not a hacker, spam bot, or anything of the sort, he was just a test account. Just so you don't get worried if you see him cropping up now and again.

Welcome to the MLNO Newsletter!
Thanks to Jas765 for the help with this newsletter. Got news? Send it to: tombomdoodle or Fawful (editor).

Member of the Month!
Most of you probably saw the action. Blade (Rudolph the Green-Nose Reindeer), mtm and B~T (Green~Grinch) all had 7 votes. The tie was broken, and Blade got up to 9, G~G had 8 and mtm stayed at 7. On the last night, G~G took 5 more votes, and won! Congratulations Green~Grinch, as you enter the MotM winners club! Well done to everyone else who got nominated.

Member of the Year!
It's that time of year again, so as the snow starts to come back (or not, if you live in England), and we prepare for Christmas, the nominations for Member of the Year 2009 have started! Nominate just like Member of the Month, then there will be an extra second round with the two highest poll scorers where you can vote for which of the two should win. Good luck to all!

From the Shop! Winter sets! UPDATED!
Quote from: Tommy_60
The new Space Police 3 sets are out, along with 3 Atlantis sets, and 2 new Power Miners sets including the brand new lava monsters!  Go buy them before they're gone!
Also the new BIONICLE Stars are out, but unfortunately these sets are only available in the US so far. Thanks to Tommy_60 for finding this out!
Update: There is a brilliant deal on in the UK! The NXT Intelligent Brick in Black is now only £80.74! Brick Street Customs, with 1021 pieces, is only £17.12, the Axalara T9 is just £36.71 and the Excavator is only £30.81!

Movie Item Blueprint is Back
Quote from: Sim533
Today, I went again to the blueprint page and wonder by wonder this item is again in the list.
This item was already released before with another picture.
Dissapeared at the start of the month February and now it's back. I don't know when it was again listed but probably it was together with the 'Dice' Update.

What do you think about this 'item'?

Thanks to Sim533 for finding this out for us.

NEW YEARS SPECIAL! What's happening on New Years Day: Continuing of the MLNO Anniversary Speeches; Announcing of the Member of the Month, January 2010; Announcing of the Member of the Year, 2009!Issue 7 UPDATED
Welcome to the MLNO Newsletter!
Thanks to Jas765 and Fawful for the help with this newsletter. Got news? Send it to: tombomdoodle or Fawful (editor).

Member of the Month!
As the New Year is Nigh, a Member of the Month is here as well. This month's winner looks to be Mtmerrick, with 8 votes, MsRowdyRedhead and Tommy_60 are joint second with 4 votes each.
Update: Congratulations to this decade's first winner... MtMerrick!

Member of the Year!
Could we be seeing a tie? Jade and Rahkshi8000 are tied at 11 votes each! I'm hoping no one else votes, so we see our first MotY tie, and first admin to win MotY!

Update: This year's Members of the Year are Jade and Rahkshi8000! Congratulations to them both!

Happy Birthday MLNO!
Today, it's MLNO's birthday! With 200,000 posts, the forum is now two. Later on today, we will start the speeches, and I've heard rumours of some sort of... fireworks! I don't know how that's going to work, but let's wait and see.

From the Shop! 2010 Sets!
The 2010 sets have come! In the UK, Toy Story, Space Police, Atlantis, Ben 10, BIONICLE, Power Miners, Star Wars: Classic, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, CITY, err... Duplo, CREATOR, Pump Action Racers (using the old pumps from Mars Mission), TECHNIC and accessory sets have arrived! Just about every theme there, apart from Castle, Ferrari and Lamborghini. The Imperial Flagship, the last Pirates set for quite a while, has arrived earlier than anticipated, 1st January instead of the 29th!

It all looks brilliant! Atlantis has a good selection of small sets for expanding your collection, the Star Wars sets are outstanding and I'd love to see the Power Miners Lavatraz in my house.

A Message from LUO
LUO was recently attacked by site founder Chase25, as you probably know. Chase has been going through a tough last month, for reasons which I'm sure he wouldn't like me to say. We have talked to him via e-mail and he has apologized, well, a lot. We will be welcoming him back as a normal member if he tells us he would like to return.

The forum is still recovering, and it would be gratefully appreciated if you could register an account there and ask to join the construction team. Walter313, D.J.M.2 or myself (I'm called Kritzelei there) will add you to the team, and you can help by suggesting improvements, adding new topics or editing boards and board names.
Thank you,
Kritzelei and the LUO Staff

Member of the Month! Apocafest Winners! A Great Big Thank You... Welcome to the forum...ZoomWookie! And a Happy Birthday to...Issue 8: February 2010
Welcome to the MLNO Newsletter!
Thanks to Jas765 and Fawful for the help with this newsletter. Got news? Send it to: tombomdoodle or Fawful (editor).

Member of the Month!
It's a record low on nominees this month, with just two members nominated! Myself and Sim533 were the members nominated. Sim has 16 votes as of 6:00PM GMT (makes this newsletter sound clever by saying that), but with just one vote more, I have taken the lead. I'd love it to be a draw, but who knows? It could all change in the last few hours of the day.

Farewell...
It's saddening when members leave... over the past month, these are the members who will be remembered as long as MLNO lives.
Jade...
Tim...

We will miss them all dearly.

Apocafest!
Congratulations to Rahkshi8000! His MOC 'Destruction, Et Cetera' won the very first MOC event, in which contestants had to create an apocalyptic themed MOC of some sort. The awards have been given out, and they look awesome! Every contestant got a black award, except for R8, who got a special red award. Congrats R8 and to everyone who entered!

From the Shop! BZP Reveals Hero Factory Canisters
The replacement of BIONICLE, Hero Factory, is coming this August. BIONICLE fan site Bionicle Zone Power (aka BZPower or BZP), revealed some images from the LEGO Hero Factory line. These were not leaked, and there has even been a Hero Factory advert created by LEGO themselves on BZP! The video features the motto: "We make heroes." Sounds like a good theme, in my opinion.

A Message from LUO
Once again, I'd like to thank all of you for your help at LUO. We couldn't have retrieved the forum without you, but I'd like to give some honourable mentions...
Sim533 has helped out a huge amount in the re-naming of boards, creating sub-forums and topics. Sim was awarded a special medal and rep on LUO.
lindavz helped out like Sim, with re-naming boards, and being a temporary admin whilst we fixed the site. Lindavz was also awarded a medal and rep on LUO.
Master X: Neo Black did an amazing job in recovering the forum. He put up with horrendous images, and words, for that matter, and with the help of Walter313, they managed to re-gain control of the forum. MX was awarded a trophy and three rep on LUO.

Walter313 also received a trophy and three rep for his help, as well as LUO's D.J.M.2. I cannot thank you all enough, and now we are up and running fully once more.
