Hi Dancer, I watched an episode a Star Trek: Voyager yesterday, it was called Darkling. I only saw half an hour of it but it seemed quite good. Virgin1 is packed full of Star Trek.

Yep, that's right.
Legodac - They might have a website, but it's a TV Channel I was talking about.
"The main problem with the design at that stage was that it didn't look fast enough, so Meininger, a car enthusiast, got some posters of Ferraris, and used them to help him design the 'streamlined' look of the ship, making it very compact and sleek." That's all I could find.

Oh, and the answer was that the warp drive was too powerful for a ship its size, causing it to almost explode on its shakedown cruise.


Anyway... As I'm asking propulsion questions, the Quantom Slipstream Drive... Why did Voyager crash into the ice planet, instead of returning home like the Delta Flyer in front of it did?

Kim made incorrect calculations? The full answer I found was: "During Voyager's second attempt at the technology, the ship's on-board sensors could not map the phase variances quickly enough for the engine to keep the slipstream stable. Ensign Harry Kim concocted a plan to fly the Delta Flyer ahead of Voyager, to accurately predict correct phase variances, and transmit the values to Seven for proper slipstream manipulation. Kim made incorrect calculations, resulting in the loss of Voyager on an ice planet a few parsecs from the Alpha Quadrant."
