It has been 3 years since Haze left the land of Evap Nui, and Leraka wiped the rest of the civilization away. In an attempt to save the universe though, Leraka gave three toa time to leave. Vaho, toa of shadows and iron, Plasmatic, deranged toa of Fire/Water, and the evil Kiteco, toa of ice and wielder of the dragon head, Wrath.
The unlikely team's mission: find and terminate Haze. The only problem was, Haze had taken refuge in Ko Nui, land of ice. Vaho's armour was not adapted for the harsh weather of Ko Nui. Plasmatic was not completely sane, and Kiteco was unsure of where his alliance lay. The last problem: The three toa did not trust one another.

Chapter One: Kavinika

Haze looked around at the icy surroundings. Ko Nui, the land of ice, was quite different from Evap Nui, the land of rainforests and well develloped cities. Ko Nui was, in fact, quite the opposite. The weather was cold and dry, and the terrain rocky with bits of dry snow and ice mixed in. There were no cities, at least, where Haze had landed. The land was barren and empty.
"Argghhh!" sighed Haze as he knelt on one knee. His body was quite wounded from the journey to Ko Nui and he could not easily recover. "I must find... a place to... set up... my last energies might be able to save me..." Haze began to move towards a cave when he was knocked down by a white and gray blur. There was a screech that came from the blur, which came to a stop and flipped itself upright.
"What?" was all Haze could manage to say before the animal hopped onto him. The creature, known on Ko Nui as a Kavinika, stepped off of the uncnscious warrior and dragged him along the ground towards a mountain chain in the east.

"So? You're a toa of ice, aren't you? How close are we to this planet?"
Kiteco did not reply at first. Then his arm shook and he looked up at the toa flying in front of him. Plasmatic, a deranged toa formed of two feuding toa, had somehow become leader of what he called the 'Evaporation Team' and was constantly demanding answers. Kiteco, somewhat of an outsider as he had only recently discovered he was a toa, did not enjoy Plasmatic. But when it came to fighting, Plasmatic could easily take both Kiteco and Vaho, at the same time. And because of this, Plasmatic was leader.
Vaho was the only true toa of the group. Back on Evap Nui, before the planet's destruction, Vaho had fought along side many toa to protect it from all evil, including Toa Plasmatic. At the end of the last war Haze had taken over most of the planet's inhabitants and Vaho had been fighting alone, with Toa Plasmatic and Kiteco forming loose alliances with him during the fight.
In the end, Vaho had won, and Kiteco, Vaho and Plasmatic had been left to die. It was only because of the spirit Leraka that the three toa had been able to leave. And now Kiteco was not even sure if that had been a good thing.
"Hey!" I asked you a question! Stop looking at your arm and answer the question!"
Kiteco blinked, then shuddered. The head attached to his arm never stopped haunting him. Wrath, another evil creature turned good, was a head that Kiteco had adopted long ago when he was being welcomed into death's arms and had cried out for help. Wrath had appeared out of no where and given Kiteco strength unknown to any toa ever before. Kiteco had escaped, but he was the host of what many called the 'Dragon Head'.
The only conditions that Wrath had in order to remain with Kiteco was that the toa let him in on 75% of all fights, and that Kiteco never accept that he could live without Wrath. If Kiteco did this, Wrath would grant him power and help Kiteco. At this point in time, Wrath growled and gave a responce to Plasmatic.
"We're near it. I can sense the place. It's cold, though. We shouldn't be going here." From behind a voice of agreement came.
"Shut it, Vaho. You're the real toa of Evap Nui. If anyone should be on this misiion it's you." Shrieked Plasmatic in a voice filled with insanity.
Vaho smirked. When Plasmatic had taken over as leader Vaho had sat back and only been a bother to his fellow toa. At one point in time, Plasmatic had haunted the land of Evap Nui, being the first toa to defect. In that time, Flare and Nerza had been the main toa of Evap Nui, and Plasmatic's defect had nearly killed them. Flare was Plasmatic's brother, and Nerza was almost killed physically by the evil toa. But later on, when Plasmatic had died, Flare and Nerza left. Dissapeared. Vaho had taken over as lead toa and helped to rebuild the city. And the Plasmatic had returned, not as himself, but as Flare and Nerza, combined, with the old Plasmatic's spirit. But he was not completely evil this time, just deranged.

"What have you brought me?" asked the warrior clad in orange and yellow armour. The Kavinika looked up at his master and pulled the near-frozen warrior into view. Haze shuddered as he returned to the cold consiousness on Ko Nui. "I see you have awoken, stranger. Do not try to attack me or I'll-"
Haze dissapeared from view. When he reappeared he stood infront of a large machine that had appeared from nowhere. The orange warrior stepped back in preperation for an attack, but one did not come. The Kavinika stared in awe at the machine, and as the orange warrior looked where his servant looked, he noticed that Haze was attached to the strange machine.

Chapter Two: Landing

Vaho was the first to feel the cold of Ko Nui. Plasmatic had fire within him to keeo warm, and Kiteco was a toa of ice, and the cold was not a problem for him. Vaho flexed his hands and arms to keep them warm, but it didn't help much.
"Set out and search for a place to set up a temporary base. Somewhere out of the cold," came yet another command from Plasmatic. Kiteco grumbled but walked off and Vaho took to the air to do an aerial search.
Plasmatic took off on foot, his lance held out in defence against anyone, or thing, that might attack him. The wind swept across the open terrain of Ko Nui and Plasmatic shuddered. Evap Nui was much more bearable than this, he thought angrily.

In less than an hour Kiteco returned with news that he had spotted a few caves in which they could shelter themselves from the cold. Vaho was glad to hear this, not only to get out of the cold, but to enter inside the rocks, when hopefully he would feel more in his element. For the first time in a while he remembered his mask and put it to use. A kanohi in the shape of a noble Kiril, his mask was the Kanohi Orida, mask of climate. It required great concentration to use, but when his power was focused into it the mask was able to elevate the weather and summon small storms to his aid. Vaho focused a small amount of power into his mask and the temperature around him rose slightly.
Kiteco led the way to the cave, followed by Plasmatic. Vaho trailed further back, already planning a way to defeat Haze. The toa of shadows and iron didn't want to stay in the world of ice any longer than he had to.

Haze watched as the orange warrior and the small animal examined him and his machine. In his current state, statis in recovery, Haze could not move or defend himself. But it was also in this state that he could recover at an alarming rate, and his body was protected from small attacks.
Haze's wings shook slightly and his body began to tingle. The recovery was over. Before the orange warrior knew what was going on Haze was on his feet delivering powerful punches and swift kicks. The orange warrior fell quickly, and it was at this time that the Kavinika fled.
"I did only need one slave," said Haze, darkly. He looked at the warrior on the ground, squished like an insect. "You will be called Bug from now on. That is what you are to me. a bug."

"This cave will suffice for now. Later on, when we locate Haze, we will need to move." Said Plasmatic. It was obvious, but the deranged toa stated it anyways. "We must kill Haze!"
"Calm yourself down!" Shouted Kiteco, before his arm went crazy and Wrath attacked Plasmatic.
"We don't need him as leader. He can fight but he's useless as a strategic planner. Put me in charge now or-"
All three of them went stiff as their metal parts stuck fast. Vaho looked at them with a look of satisfaction. "We wait here until the morning. Then we follow Plasmatic in search of Haze. We kill Haze and get out of here. We don't need an army, because Haze has only had a few hours more than us on this planet. Not enough to create an army."
And although Vaho's words were true, what Haze had created was much more powerful than an army, no matter what the size.

Chapter Three: The First Attack

Kiteco and Wrath scanned the horizon for any signs of life, mainly though, signs of Haze. The mysterious being was no where to be seen though, and it looked as if Haze had not even landed on this world.
Meanwhile, Plasmatic walked along the snowy ground, testing his twin bladed spear with bursts of water and fire shooting out of each blade. Vaho stood behind him, watching his every move, studying how he fought and how he balanced himself. When at last Plasmatic noticed Vaho he launched himself towards the toa of iron, his spear red hot and sizzling with water vapour.
Vaho dodged easily and rolled back on his heels, spun around and slashed at Plasmatic with his claws. Plasmatic gasped as one of Vaho's claws pierced his armour, leaving a small wound in his side. Plasmatic retaliated quickly, shooting bursts of water and fire in rapid succession at Vaho, who at this point was unnamred except for his natural claws. Vaho stood still and watched as the ball of flame coming at him suddenly vanished. The ball of water that followed sizzled in the air and then dissapeared as well.
"What!? What did you do?" growled Plasmatic, his own claws surging with water ready to attack Vaho once more.
"Kanohi Orida. The ball of fire existed only because of the air around it. By cooling the temperature around it I removed the air it needed to live, and so it dissapeared. The ball of water dissapeared after I heated the air around it and it evaporated. Maybe you too could make use of your mask and-" Vaho didn't finish his sentence. He realised only milliseconds too early his mistake. He stepped forwards quickly and spun around, claws out and blocked Plasmatic's spear from slashing through him. Plasmatic also wore a mask, specifically the Kanohi Iltra, mask of evasion. It allowed the bearer of the mask the ability to move their body mass or image elsewhere to avoid attacks. If you moved your body mass, an after image of yourself would be left there, but you would be moved elsewhere. You could also project your image elsewhere to scout out areas.
Plasmatic growled a rahi like growl and his body erupted in flames. Vaho shook his head. Plasmatic was out of control. The toa of fire/water growled once more in rage and then charged at Vaho, water and fire shooting out randomly all over the place. The ground below Vaho cracked and iron reached itself around Vaho, covering the toa with iron as a protective shield. Vaho, now completely armoured, grabbed Plasmatic and threw him back, then stepped forwards and smashed his claws backwards against Plasmatic's head. The deranged toa howled in pain, but the flames retreated back into his body.
Vaho flexed his arms and legs and the armour covering him returned to the ground, except for the small amount that Vaho held in his right hand.
The Doom Blade, as Vaho called his iron blade, was imbued with shadow powers, and before Plasmatic could react, his shadow left him and Vaho began to talk.
"Get control of yourself and don't ever attack me again. You may be the leader, but just remember who the strongest toa on this mission is. I can take control at any time!"
Of course, this wasn't all true. Plasmatic was stronger than Vaho in the state when he lost control. When Plasmatic learned to control his power he could take on Vaho at full strength. But until then, Plasmatic realised, he would need to be more careful.
"Just don't watch me practice. I don't want you giving anything away when we fight Haze. If he sees you make an action because you know what I'm gonna do, he'll adapt fast enough decimate all of us."
"When we meet Vaho I am going to kill him. I won't need your help." Vaho walked away, and when he was out of Plasmatic's sight he opened his hand, releasing Plasmatic's shadow.
Plasmatic got up and looked at the place where Vaho had gone. "When you meet Haze and find out who he really is will you change your mind, or will you stay strong and terminate him like you've planned? Only you can decide." Plasmatic sighed.

Chapter Four: Departing

Kiteco turned around and scanned behind him. Something was following him, he was sure of that. Wrath was going crazy, he hadn't fought in days. "Run back and find who that person is. I'll destroy him for you. I need a fight!"
Kiteco shook his head. "If I go back now the follower will turn away. Act like you don't know that the person is there and he'll come to you."
Wrath closed his mouth and Kiteco continued to walk. Just as he had said, the follower continued to follow, and within minutes attacked.
"Don't move. I will kill you!" The voice came from the attacker. Kiteco smirked. The attacker looked like a fool.
"Okay, Wrath. Get him quickly."
