Wow. I just worked on these today, so they didn't really turn out as what I hoped for. I made two, and I have yet to decide with my team on which is better and even then, I only have four hours. yay for last minute entries! -_-. #1.  #2.  |

I really like the concept and how you made the logo a literal representation of its text in both cases. If you could make the second one just a little more clear, it would be definitely awesome.

But what do you mean by "clear"? Do you mean interpreting the letters to form "Surfers"? Yeah, it is a bit ambiguous. And I sorta cramped it up because I did not like a too long logo, and it only made it more vague. =/

Yeah, just a little more definition to the outlines. Maybe another tip up on the left of the S to make it the full S shape, and I'm not sure the shark fin works for the second s. It's a creative idea, but it's just kinda half an s. It would probably also help if the background was made a little darker to better define the waves and the whale spurt (to put it oddly =P) from the background.
Kinda hard to do these little adjustments if you're drawing it (and in a time crunch) and that's understandable, so I wouldn't fret. The idea is great, I'm just mentioning these things as things to think about for the future.

Lol. CRX has a computer with an undo button... Unfortunately, they don't put those on pieces of paper. Nice job though, I really like it!

Yeah those are just things to think about from a design perspective regardless of whether or not you have the ability to physically produce it. Personally I'm not good at drawing so I'm grateful for Adobe. =D
