Hey guys, I just had a meet on Tuesday. Unfortunately, with my foot keeping me from training and the wind at the meet, my times were pretty bad for me =/ I got a 5:35 for my mile (slower than my mile in Freshman year) and a 12:13 for my 2-mile (not as bad, but still slow for me). I didn't do half bad in my placing though, because it was a very small meet.
@Teddy: Side-aches or side-stiches are caused by all the things Mahri listed, with especial emphasis on the water part.
@MsRR/Mahri: I love running because of the "runner's high"

It's great during and after a run; I feel like I can do a backflip or something
