Rassapidia
These creatures specialize in speed. It lives in groups, easily outrunning their predators. They can sometimes get caught though. They are omnivorous; sometimes they hunt or scavenge, sometimes they graze. The air pores are located on the shoulder instead of the head for more airflow when running. When mating, males pump blood into their crests. They also become aggressive, and a male will screech at its opponent for the right to mate.
I hand drew this, and I use shading. This was actually drawn in the last day of 2009. I have more drawings, but this is the only one shaded so far. Comments/criticism welcome!
