Meanwhile; back at the meeting room, the Beam Saber fight continued. Interestingly, two of the sides of the room had fragmented during the attacks, and created two gaps at each end, essentially spelling doom for anyone who hit the far walls. Curtis slashed forward, but Sera blocked, as Calvin growled and grabbed his Beam Saber with his left hand, barely dodging another attack from Owen in the process.
"Why are you doing this?" Curtis asked with a frown, as Sera chuckled.
"To teach you a lesson that you can't just disobey orders." Sera stated, obviously slightly changed by the power that was given to her when Ryan had been killed. Sera whipped her Beam Saber at Curtis, who blocked the blow, but was knocked off balance near the new-found gap. Curtis grabbed the edge, and Sera smirked as she walked up to him.
"Any last words...?"

OOC: Cookie to the first person who guesses what I'm spoofing. =P

Adrian: "Attention Imperial Soldiers. Emperor Chargas and his inner circle are all dead, and the Glory will soon fall. Surrender, or die."

OOC: I had some ideas for the outside battle, and fall of the Glory in general... Mind if I do that; at the least retroactively?

-==IC: Patch==-

Patch frowned, as he looked up at the Glory, which was still taking some damage, but not as much as was truly needed to destroy the overly large mech.
"... Right." Patch mumbled to himself, as he nodded. Barry frowned, confused, as he fired off another shot.
"Right? What do you mean?" Barry asked, not sure what Patch was talking about.
"There's something I have to do. There's no getting around it; it must be done. And it's something only I can do." Patch said, as he started to head toward the elevator to the Glory. Barry was still slightly confused, however, his eyes widened as he realized what Patch was planning on doing.
"No! You can't do this... You saved me! I haven't paid off my debt to you yet!" Barry said, and Patch chuckled.
"We saved each other from those Imperials; there is no debt." Patch stated, and then smiled confidently.
"Funny; this is the one thing that doesn't seem boring to me." Patch said, and then piloted his mech into the elevator, as he cut the comm line, and then pulled out an explosive device.

OOC: This is but post one of this part. If you've been paying attention, you might realize what part two is. =P

From in her mech, Luna pressed a button, detonating the explosives she'd hidden throughout the Glory.

OOC: OK, I'm just going to assume the rest of the fight is retroactive.

-==IC: Bailey==-
As the timer hits six seconds, Bailey hears people enter her room.  Not taking the time to figure out who they are, she seals the door and straps herself and Brianna in.  "Everybody hang on!  3...2...1..."

Everyone and everything not secured is thrown to the back of the room as the shuttle takes off.  It breaks free from the Glory moments before it explodes in a fantastic fireball.  A large, silvery object bounces off the shuttle and plummets to the ground below, forcing Bailey to land the shuttle a kilometer and a half away from the remains of the Glory, only halfway to the safehouse--and right in the path of any trigger-happy Rebels fleeing the site of the battle.

"OK, everyone out.  That thing only misaligned our stabilizers, so this'll be a fast fix, but I want everyone ready in case someone on either side decides they want us dead."  Without looking back, she stalks outside the shuttle to begin repairs.


OOC: after the fight

One of the rebels notices a silvery object go flying from the Glory as it explodes and collide with a fleeing shuttle.  The Object crashes to the ground, while the shuttle continues wobbily on its path--the path back to the Rebel base.

OOC: Don't respond to this post until the rest of the retroactive "fight posts" are done, 'kay?  Also, feel free to have the Rebels respond to one or both events--I have a response to pretty much anything you can think up.

-==IC: Curtis==-

Curtis growled in desperation, and sighed, with a smile.
"Yeah; I have one. See ya next fall." Curtis said, as he quickly launched himself back onto the platform, and then slashed out with his sword, while he gave Sera a kick off the platform. Sera was surprised, especially as both her mechanical legs were sliced off; but never had a chance to say anything, as she tumbled down the now-void of space. Curtis looked over to Calvin, and raised an eyebrow as both Light and Owen were fighting him now; and were winning. Owen sliced off Calvin's second mechanical arm, and then jumped up, and slammed his foot out at Calvin, which knocked him off the platform, and sent him tumbling into oblivion.
"We don't have much time left... Let's go!" Curtis stated, as the other two nodded, and the now-trio ran down the corridors, and avoided crumbling walkways and ceilings, as they ran toward the shuttle, and got into it with six seconds to spare.
"Whew." Curtis said, as he slumped against one of the walls; not taking the time to strap himself in. However; he payed for that, as the shuttle took off; and sent him flying right to the back of the aircraft. After everything happened involving the object smashing into the shuttle, and the Glory getting destroyed, Curtis stood up slowly, shook his head in a daze, and then exited the craft, to help defend the shuttle, in case of attack.

-==IC: Patch==-

Patch made his way through the damaged compound; taking out the enemy Imperials as he did so. Eventually, he found exactly what he was looking for; the Reactor of the Glory. Patch walked up to the Reactor, and pulled out an explosive, and placed it next to the reactor, and then proceeded to repeat the process. Patch nodded, as he then stepped back, and prepared to fire at them to destroy the Glory; however, he suddenly noticed the barrel of a gun placed right next to the chassis of his Mech; right where the cockpit was located.
"Get out of your mech, now." The voice from the opposing Mech stated, and Patch frowned, but complied, as he got out. He turned around, as he saw a girl with long red hair and green eyes get out of her mech, and then dropped to the ground. Patch raised an eyebrow, as she reminded him of someone; but he couldn't think who. However, he never got a chance to say anything, as the girl glared at him.
"We're switching Mechs." The girl said, and Patch frowned, but nodded.
"I'm assuming your mechs have a video scrambler, and a voice modulator, correct?" The girl inquired, and Patch merely nodded again, as he got into the other Mech. The girl chuckled, and activated the Patch's mech... And then slammed it's fist into her old mech, which knocked it to the ground.
"Heh heh heh..." The girl, who was actually Bridget of the Imperials, chuckled, as the mech ran away from the reactor quickly, and headed outside. Bridget activated the video scrambler, so as not to reveal that it wasn't Patch that was piloting the mech, and activated the Voice Modulator, and set it to Patch's voice sample. Meanwhile, she put on her helmet, and sealed it so as to make it seem like she was actually Patch. She had already stolen a uniform from the back of the mech, which would help with the disguise.

Meanwhile, Patch had activated the Mech he had been stuck with, however, it had been heavily damaged by the unexpected attack; and he could only barely move one arm; but nothing else. Patch sighed, and frowned, as he noticed a plasma gun near the fallen mech, and nodded, as he reached the arm over to it, and then grabbed it, and then pointed it at the bombs positioned around the Reactor of the Glory.
Given that that girl seemed to be an Imperial... And her plan was likely to stop this from happening... She failed. Patch thought, as he fired the pistol at the explosives.

Back with Bridget, the elevator had just finished heading to the ground, and she activated her helmet's tinting feature. She started to pilot the mech forward; however, the sudden explosive destruction that was caused by the reactor being utterly destroyed caused her stolen mech to be blown forward, and heavily damaged, as it rolled to a stop, power systems offline except for the comm system. Bridget herself was unharmed; but this didn't exactly help her plans.
Great. I just get to finishing the set up of my plan, and THIS happens. Bridget thought with a sigh, as she shook her head.

Meanwhile, Lloyd and the others had been surprised when Patch's mech had walked out of the Glory; only to have the Glory epically explode behind it. Unfortunately, it was literally behind it, as the explosion sent the mech flying forward, and damaged it heavily.
"Patch! Are you okay?" Lloyd asked with a frown, as he kept his eye on the exploding mech; and waited to make sure that it didn't topple right on them, since Rose's mech couldn't move. Lloyd raised an eyebrow, as he saw a shuttle fly out of the exploding Glory, but didn't pay much attention to it, as he trained his eye on the Glory, and fired a charged shot at it, intending to knock it backwards, away from the Rebels. Lloyd intended to fire off another shot at the Glory, however, he suddenly noticed a drain in his energy, as he panted, and felt tired all of a sudden.
Wha?

Barry watched with astonishment, as Patch's mech exited the glory, got blown across the field, and then rolled to a stop.
"Patch, are you okay?" Barry heard Lloyd ask, and waited for a response. After the Glory had been blown back by Lloyd's attack, a bit of static appeared, with a sigh.
"I'm okay, I guess... That was a little boring after all." The voice responded, and Barry shook his head.
"Only you could find some way to blow the mech up, get back out before it exploded; and then get blown across the field by said explosion." Barry said, and frowned.
"Well... Actually, thinking about it, anyone would likely have the same thing happen, knowing our luck." Barry said, as a chuckle was given in response.
"You still don't need to repay any debts now anyway." 'Patch' said, and Barry nodded. Barry then frowned, as he recalled that shuttle, and turned his mech around, and noticed where it was, and started to walk up to it, as he had no clue what it was for.

Bailey spotted a rebel mech moving towards the shuttle.  "Spast.  I'm still realigning the thrusters.  Hold your fire unless they shoot first, but be prepared for anything.  According to the General, they're on our side, but I have no idea if he told THEM that."

Suddenly, the Revenant and the Blitz step quietly out of the bushes.  Both pilotless.  "Oh, good, backup.  We'll have to use these until we get to the safehouse, that's where the rest of our mechs are."  She glances at one of the empty mechs.  "Any particular reason you brought these two, E.R.I.N.?"  The Blitz shrugged.  It was as much of a response as she'd get; the Rebel had arrived.

Barry approached with caution, however, he didn't attack yet. Instead of using the comm link; he activated the on-board loudspeaker, so as to let the people on the ground hear him.
"State your intentions, and alliance... Are you the Imperials that are allied with the Rebels; or are you our enemy?" Barry asked, a frown on his face.

[Flipz]

Bailey looked up and saw that the others were looking to her.  Aw, blast it.  I guess I have to do everything myself, as usual.  "Ship got hit.  Making repairs.  On our way to meet General Tyrr.  Said he'd recruited the Rebels to him or something," Bailey said, thinking quickly about her options.  If that guy makes ONE MOVE toward the shuttle, he's going down I don't care what side he's on.  My daughter's in there, and until I know I can trust 'em, the Rebels aren't getting anywhere near her.

Barry nodded, and the Mech took a step back.
"Alright then. Was just wondering, since the shuttle had appeared just before the huge mech was destroyed... Can't be too careful; correct?"

OOC: He made one move back, that doesn't count, correct? =P

Adrian landed his mech, and ran over to Rose.

*Kneels*

(Adrian): "Rose, will you marry me?"

*Rose blinks*

(Rose): "What?! NO! We've never even been on a date!"

(Adrian): "Oh. In that case, will you go on a date with me?"

*Rose rolls her eyes*

(Rose): "Fine. That's your reward for helping us."

Lloyd, however, sleepily opened his mech, and started to step out, but instead comically fell, and then landed on Adrian by accident, using him as a landing pad.
"Rose... You... Okay?" Lloyd asked, fighting off his tired feeling, though he made no move to stand up.

OOC: You had that coming. =P

"Yeah, but this lovestruck idiot proposed to me. I agreed to go on a date with him to shut him up."

Lloyd blinked for a couple seconds, both to fight off sleep and comprehend what she meant, because he didn't see anyone, and then looked down and saw Adrian, and sighed.
"I see..." Lloyd said, and then 'accidentally' elbowed him as he attempted to get up.
