A humanoid figure floated over. it had no physical features whatsoever, and was pure white, with strange images appearing on it's body. An instant later, they were back in the restaurant, and the figure was gone.

"Well, I can't speak for anyone else here, but...I want to find Justin."  She gives Carrie a look that she can't quite figure out.  "An explanation on what's been going on would be very interesting.  You can tell me on route.  Starting with how he ended up with you in the first place."

OOC: Blade, I bet Curtis has a burning question about Justin right about now...but don't let him blurt it out yet.  Wait for the absolute worst possible moment, OK?

Oh, and Jared can fill us all in on Soul Energy once the awkward silence goes on too long.

Carrie nodded, as Curtis raised his hand too.
"I'll go." Curtis said, as Carrie nodded again.
"Alright then... When should we head out?"

Shiza walked back over to Bade.

"Anyway, have you caught the pumpkin faerie yet?"

"No, he got away, unfortunately.  I heard the fuzz got 'im, though, so that's something.  And this way, I didn't have to go to court to testify; he didn't get a trial."

Carrie looked at Bailey, wondering if she had heard her.
"Err... Hello? Are we going now?"

OOC: Also, you predicted the epic fight. =D

Bailey had been lost in memories, but Carrie's comment brought her back to reality.

"We leave immediately," she said, following E.R.I.N. and Servo toward the hangar.

Carrie nodded, as she and Curtis ran toward the hangar as well.

OOC: Oh, you'll see it.  It'll happen once Carrie and Bailey come to terms with both having feelings for Justin and deciding to be civilized about it.

Bailey climbs into her mech and powers it up, looking around to see who else was coming with them.  E.R.I.N., meahwhile, had discarded the butler robot and activated the Revenant, though Bailey saw she had loaded the droid into the pilot's compartment so as not to alarm bystanders.

OOC: I'm assuming at least Justin's coming, since he has to tell us about Soul Energy.  At the very least, the others can stay in touch via radio.

"Alright; everyone ready?" Carrie asked, as she climbed into her mech with a frown.

OOC:  I meant Jared.  Oh, and the question is, "So, is Justin Brianna's father?"

"Ready.  Let's bring him home."

Carrie nodded, as she piloted her mech out of the hangar quickly.
"I'll see if I can get a lock on Justin's last known location..."

While Carrie leads them towards Justin's last known location, Bailey asks, "So...how exactly did you know Justin?"

"Well... Originally he had been bringing parts for our Mecha. However, one day, he had arrived in person because the rest of the Rebels had just joined up. From then on, he had joined with us, and was fighting with us." Carrie said, and tried to think of how to continue.
"He's a nice guy, I have to say." Carrie said with a smile.

OOC: Only using past tenses because they did happen in the past. =P

Conflicting emotions washed over Bailey; first the joy of hearing Justin's name, then jealousy at Carrie's tone of endearment towards Justin, then the pain of losing him...maybe twice now.  She shook herself.  It wouldn't do to dwell on the past.  Still, she couldn't resist asking.  "How nice?"

OOC: Not yet, but let Curtis notice the tone.  In case you're confused...

(Bailey speaking to ERIN in the hospital room, about Justin)
"No.  No.  If I live, the Empire will find me.  Especially once Chargas gets word of everything I've pulled so far to keep this secret.  If I try to stay with her, they'll find her and take her.  Like they took me."  A tear rolled down her face before she could stop it.  "If only...you know, the last time I thought I'd found the perfect way out...well, that's how I got into THIS scheme.  If it had only worked out...but no.  He left me."

"I thought you told him to go?"

"He should have stayed!  He should have stayed to protect me.  We could have fought to the end!  And then...and then...and then I wouldn't have had to endure such pain for these long years..."

"Pretty nice. He's a very good mechanic too. He also seemed to care a lot about people; something that I hope catches on now." Carrie said with another smile. Meanwhile, Curtis raised a slight eyebrow at Bailey's tone, but didn't say anything.
