1: Once Chargas and his Empire are destroyed, Kora could take over. So she had a reason to want Chargas dead.

"I see..." Barry said, and then calmly walked toward Shiza, and then aimed to quickly knock her out while she was unaware of him there.

Shiza dodged (without meaning to), looked Barry in the eyes, bit his nose, and fell asleep (while still on top of Rose).

And wait...oooh...I just got an evil idea to fight Kora.  It won't happen 'till MUCH later, not 'till she reveals herself to everyone.

J, E.R.I.N. (now in a new, person-sized robot body), and Bailey walked down one of the residential hallways of the Rebel base.
"I, for one, am looking forward to a nice break after this.  First, trying to kill all of you, then trying to save all of you, it's exhausting."
"I agree, we need a night off.  Bailey?"
"Not this time, I need to go check on Brianna.  I might see what Curtis is up to, as well."
"I could check up on her for you...?"
"Not this time, E.R.I.N.  I've left Brianna without her mother for too long.  I barely allowed myself to see her at all, so she wouldn't miss me when I was killed."
"Killed?" J asked.
"Yeah.  I was planning to betray the Empire long before General Tyrr was.  I wanted to send them into chaos, so I could send the surrogate parents I was going to choose for her into hiding without any chance of them being found by the Empire.  I knew they would never let me go, not after...well, let's say I've had an interesting career.  I didn't expect to survive my plan."
"She found a couple of potential candidates among the elite group formerly led by Sera Kingston when the Emperor Chargas assigned her to infiltrate them.  It helped that she was specifically told to look for anyone who might betray the Empire, which, coincidentally, was exactly what she needed."
"We set up an entire system of coded responses and actions to take care of pretty much any situation, it was great.  E.R.I.N. did most of the work, she was brilliant; I just gave it direction.  Anyway, we managed to find Curtis and bring him over, but I never managed to talk to the girl I identified.  What was her name again?"
"Bridget Flarigan.  Her mech was found in the wreckage of Glory Towers, she's listed as dead."
"Shame.  She had potential.  Still, now that I've gotten to know Curtis, well..."
"You might not have been so quick to send her off with him?"
Bailey blushed, then nodded.  "Anyway, now that I'm alive and I have a reasonable shot at staying that way, it's time to get to know my daughter.  So, have fun girls!"
"Nice meeting you, Agent Bailey."
Bailey chuckled at J's use of her rank, then left for the safehouse.
"So, E.R.I.N., what do you say we gather the girls and have a night for ourselves?"
"That sounds like a FABULOUS idea, I'll go get Kora, Carrie, Rose, Iris, and Luna."
"What about that other girl, Shiza?"
"You mean the one that can out-insane Bade?"
"Good point."

OOC: Blade, if you want "Patch" to overhear that, be my guest.  Also, Truth, how should my Remnant characters report to the Queen?  By radioing in from the Remnant base or in some back alley?

Bridget had headed around the base in her disguise, when she overheard the three girls mentioning about how she was dead, and frowned slightly behind her helmet.
Knew it'd come down to that with that type of plan, but... that means I have to speed up my plan slightly. Bridget thought with the frown on her face, as she continued to walk down the hall.

Meanwhile, Curtis was around the base, thinking over the craziness that the day had brought.
Well, definitely was interesting, can't deny that. Curtis thought with a slight chuckle, as he checked up on his mech, and to his surprise, seemingly found a screw loose on one of the key joints.
That's weird... Curtis thought, as he fixed that problem, and then nodded, and walked down the hall again randomly.

OOC: Just have them run into Carrie, I have no clue where she actually is.

On that note, it's a good thing we have a new mechanic. =P

Just inside the main base doors, Bailey runs into Carrie.  "Oh...hi, Carrie.  I was just going out to check on Brianna.  Hey, listen, J and ERIN are getting the rest of the girls are ready for a night on the town.  I'm going to stay home with my daughter, but you...you really deserve a break.  Go on, go find them.  They're trying to gather the other girls, I think they said something about meeting in the main lounge."  Bailey walks out the door, waves good-bye to Carrie, and heads to her safehouse.

Carrie nodded with a smile, and then headed toward the main lounge, though had a funny feeling for some reason, as she remembered something.

Barry blinked, and frowned, as he walked to the door, and opened it.
"Hey, aren't you... That weird girl with the crush on that general from earlier?" Barry asked, remembering what had gone on earlier.
