"Thanks a lot, Shiza." Lloyd said with a smile.

OOC: Since you've given me free reign for the Imperials' orders, I'll just set up a bunch of 'plot hooks', any of which you can freely pick up or ignore.  And I'll leave the GNO alone, since I'm pretty sure Kora would want it that way, too.

"'Set up an ambush for the Rebels outside of town.  Any Imperial who sets foot within the city limits for the next 12 hours will be terminated.  Permanently.'  Are you sure this is our Queen?"
"The authorization came from her personal comlink.  There is no question.  However, Reclumen, you must see the clever opportunity our Queen has provided for those of us clever enough to see the implications behind her words."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, for instance, the orders for termination...wouldn't you say those would apply to all Imperials?"
"You mean...?"
"Yes, indeed.  In spite of their change in allegiance, the Imperials within the Rebel stronghold still refer to themselves by that name.  They are within the city...therefore, they are to be terminated."
Reclumen snorted.  "I thought those orders had already come through."
"Indeed.  I believe the Queen has planted an agent among the Rebels, or at least in an area nearby.  The time limit of twelve hours indicates she has surreptitiously moved that agent somewhere else in the city--preserving their cover in case we fail, or for use on other Rebel cells.  During that small window, we can strike the Rebels without fear of harming our own men."
"But how do we take out the traitors without breaking the Queen's order ourselves?"
"Simple.  We don't set foot in the city."

OOC: Hey Blade, remember those space battles you mentionedyou wanted way back?  Well, this'll at least be a step closer to that.

-==IC: Servo==-
As the women left the Rebel base, he followed, uneasy.  His general's instincts told him something bad was going to happen tonight, and whatever happened, he needed to be sure E.R.I.N. and Shiza stayed safe.

So, naturally, the two had decided to split up.  Servo mentally berated them, glad for once this body had not been given a proper vocabulator.  Seeing Bade dutifully--if overdramatically--patrolling the upper level of the base, Servo knew he had made the right decision.  No one would protect Shiza more than her own family--or at least, he thought the two were related.  The odds of two such unique individuals being unrelated was--

Focus, Servo.  The girls were getting out of sight, and he quickened his pace, being sure they wouldn't see him.  A part of him felt strange to be accompanying them on this type of outing, but since he was technically genderless, it didn't feel he would break the rules of a "girls' night out" by tagging along as their chaperone.

Still, he wasn't happy.  Outside the base, and with their guards down, any of a thousand small calamities could strike--from food poisoning to mugging to being hit by a hovercar--and that would be bad news for the Rebels.  Worse, if E.R.I.N. was destroyed--he stopped that line of thought before it could overwhelm him.  The A.I. was quite intelligent, but, like her Intelligence and Recon agents, she had a penchant for risk-taking.  Servo smiled mentally.  He wondered if she realized she had taken that from him--or rather, the General he'd been back in the day.  Regardless, she had passed it on to the rest of I&R, whether they realized it or not.  He chuckled mentally at the irony.

As the girls neared Club Emerald, Servo forced himself to focus.  Now was the tricky part.  He had to get in there and protect the girls--without their realizing it.

OOC: Oh, you didn't. I figured both Servo and ERIN were created by Justin... But... this implies something more to that. =P

Lloyd got up, and shook his head to Shiza.
"No; I believe this will be enough." Lloyd said with a smile, and paused.
"I need to train... You got an idea of how I could do that without anyone getting in danger?" Lloyd asked, curious.

-==IC: Carrie==-

Carrie walked forward toward the club with a smile.
I don't think I've had this much fun for years now... Carrie thought with a smile, and chuckled to herself.
And the night hasn't even started yet.

OOC: Flipz, would you mind having maybe at least one straggler attack? I think a plot twist might do well around now, and it's a big plot twist.

OOC: Attack who?  And would a deserter-turned-petty-criminal work?

EDIT: Missed your opening OOC.    Justin thinks he created Servo, but really he just built the body.  Likewise, Bailey didn't write E.R.I.N., she just wiped out the safety protocols and control overrides as part of her general sabotage plan.

OOC: Attack the girls, I forgot to mention that. >>; I was kinda hoping for an Imperial who was still loyal to the actual Imperial cause, but not related to the Separatists.

Drake frowned, as he looked through the base, as he walked up to Bade, inwardly regretting that shortly after.
"Say... Have you seen any of the girls? I saw Shiza around, but I can't find anyone else..." Drake said, as he frowned once more.
Why do I suddenly have a bad feeling...?

"Gotcha, pal, Zamz Bade is on the case!"  Bade pulls out a magnifying glass and holds it to the ground.  He starts for the stairs.

-==IC: Imperial Spy==-
Sal Sabbagano was alone.  That wasn't unusual for Imperial Recon agents, but Sabbagano was expecting company.  Three days earlier, he'd managed to sabotage a nearby Rebel cell by unshielding their nuclear reacor, bombarding everyone with radiation.  He'd sent out a call to Imperial command, informing them he'd be meeting them at the designated rondezvous point, but his handler had yet to show up.  Sal frowned and checked his portable data unit again.  The blasted thing was malfunctioning again--he'd just replaced it before this assignment.  Now he couldn't get a signal from the Imperial data network.  He was going to have serious words with Requisitions & Procurement when he got back to base.  He looked out the balcony for the third time tonight when he realized the faces on his screen matched the ones headed for the bar down the street!  He quickly looked up the records.  "Three Rebels, an Imperial aide and an Imperial science droid--" Yes, it made perfect sense.  The Rebels had kidnapped an aide--an aide to General Tyrr, at that--and a science driod, likely from Research & Development, and were taking them back to their base--inside Club Emerald.  "I always thought that club was suspicious..."  He drew twin Plasma Guns and ran from balcony to balcony along the second story.  When he was ahead of the group, he lept from the second-floor balcony, landing perfectly on the sidewalk below.  "Halt!  In the name of the Empire!"

Rose rolled her eyes, pulled out two rapid-fire laser pistols, and opened fire.

A bead of sweat ran down Drake's face, as he saw Bade's antics, and Drake simply sighed and shook his head. Again, however, he got that feeling of dread, and frowned, as he shook his head, and ran off toward the armoury, and grabbed a plasma gun and beam saber.
I've gotta find out why I have this bad feeling, but I have another feeling it's related to the simultaneous disappearance of everyone of the female kind. Drake thought, as he ran out the door with no real idea of where he was going.

Carrie stopped in surprise, as the Imperial had jumped in front of them.
"What's going on?!" Carrie asked, a look of shock on her face.
And of course I left any weapons back at the base... Carrie thought with a brief frown.

OOC: Luna joined us? I thought she had gone off on her own or something... =P

Sal blasts at Rose's hands, trying to knock one of the pistols from them.  Meanwhile, he opens fire on Luna with his other pistol, aiming to pin her down.

Carrie ducked quickly, as she tried to not get caught in the crossfire, especially since she didn't have a pistol of her own.

-==IC: Drake==-

Meanwhile, Drake ran toward the site of the gunfight. He hadn't known that was where the girls were; however, that was his first guess. But, the gun fight that broke out and the lasers quickly gave it away, as he ran toward the site, but was still a little ways away...

OOC: Two things... Carrie will get injured, so try to do so. However; Drake needs to more or less be on or near the scene for this to work out well.

However; the countdown starts...

As J and E.R.I.N. charge him, the spy jumps out of their way to avoid hitting them.  He spots Carrie, who looks like she's going to flee, and blasts her in the leg, and the shoulder, too, just for good measure.

OOC: If this gets too intense, I can bring out the bartender to vape this guy.

Drake ran toward the fight, and then aimed his plasma gun at the spy quickly, and fired off two quick shots at him, however, he froze as he turned to look at Carrie to see if she was okay...

-==IC: Carrie==-

As Carrie ran out of the way of the other blasts, the two shots that had been fired hit her leg and shoulder, and she stumbled forward slightly, but found that she couldn't support her weight anymore, and that her shoulder, while shot, didn't hurt as much as it typically would. Carrie was slightly confused, as she couldn't move her arm much either, and that's when she heard the first thing that sparked the imminent questions...
"Bzzt." A spark sounded off, and she froze, and gulped, as she slowly looked to her leg, and her eyes widened in shock... Because where there should've been skin and muscle; there was stuff that seemed like skin... But wires.
"W-what...?"

OOC: I think I know where this is going, instantly feel sorry for Justin.

-==IC: Imperial Spy==-
The spy spots Drake and fires a barrage of shots at him and Carrie.  Just then, Servo appears out of nowhere, grabbing Sal and throwing him against the nearest wall.  Hard.  Servo picks him up, flies above the roof, and drops him.  Sal falls through the awning of the nearby building, but he still hits the concrete headfirst.

J sees that the spy is no longer moving.  "Is he...can someone else go find out?  Blood creeps me out."

OOC: I.E. his survival is your and/or Truth's choice.

OOC: That's only a possible. I have so many twists in store for this... =P

Carrie didn't respond, still in shock.
No... This can't be... Carrie thought, as she could barely looked at her shoulder, but it was the same way. Carrie blinked, and then dropped to her knees in confusion.
"What...?" Carrie said again; not knowing how there could be wires where there should be other things.

-==IC: Drake==-

Drake simply stared at the scene, also in shock, as he shook his head as well to make sure he was seeing what he was seeing.
That... Might explain that... Drake thought, but shook his head with a frown.
"That guy gone?" Was all Drake could say at that moment.

OOC: To reiterate, I wouldn't feel sorry for Justin just yet. =P I haven't revealed very much, though guesses are welcome, and I don't mind them in the topic. =P

Luna walked over to the spy and fired three rounds into his head.


OOC: You did say I could decide if he survived...


BIC: Rose and Kora ran over to Carrie.

(Rose): "Carrie? What...what...are those...wires?"

(Kora): "Wow. An MX1494-Z servomotor?"

OOC: I believe this is sort of an inversion of "Shrug of God".

The spy died.

-==IC: E.R.I.N.==-
"Carrie?  You alright?"  E.R.I.N. walked over, as did Servo.  "What on earth?"  Servo warbled something angrily.  "Well, duh.  Of course it's not fair, but then again it wasn't the best of circumstances.  Besides," she said, putting a comforting hand on Carrie's uninjured shoulder, "We don't know the whole story.  And from the look on the poor girl's face, she doesn't either."

OOC: Tying into things of my own that apply here.

We're in the open here...I have to find a way to tell the general to delay the attack!

J was thinking the same thing, though for a completely different reason.  "Come on," she said, "there could be more of them."  She waved the others to Club Emerald, while E.R.I.N. and Servo made gestures as if to carry Carrie.

OOC: Heh, I didn't even see that pun until after I typed it.

[The Truth]

(Captain Bartok): "Rebel scum. That puny nightclub will not defend you from me. I will simply destroy the entire building!"

With that, Bartok fired a missile right at Club Emerald.
