"Maybe it's because I'm figuring out that I'm not normal, and actually discovering these things... Maybe that's why I can understand your speech?" Carrie asked, not sure of the reason herself.

Bailey calls in over the commlink. "OK, what is going on over there?  Your comm traffic is through the roof, which means my alarms are going off.  Look, if you need my help, just point me at something you need destroyed and let me get the job done, 'kay?"

"Sir, reports indicate a group of Rebels at an Academy have been captured.  They, uh, tried to keep it quiet, but I, uh, managed to...acquire a few commlink codes that are...uh...non-standard."
"Yes, yes, good.  I don't really care if you're operating, ah, outside normal perameters, I need all the intelligence I can get.  Speaking of which...any word from Reclumen yet?"
"No, sir."
"Send him another message, I need to speak to him.  Immediately."
"Yes, sir.  Oh, before I forget, there's been a lot of activity coming from the Rebel cell we were ordered off of last time."
"You mean the operation that idiot Bartok bungled?"
"Yes, sir.  I think they're sending out a rescue party."
"Alright.  Send out our...special...operative.  We need someone on the ground, someone who won't put up with Bartok's shenanigans.  And tell Reclumen...I need that intelligence now.  If Bartok figures out what happened in that city before we do..."

Bade stood in a dark alleyway, as the rain poured down around him.  His contact was late.  Too late.  Something was smelling suspicious.  But then, he appeared.  Dressed in a tight military uniform, with a blatant black-on-white logo on his sleeve, the man was clearly a member of the most henious force of evil Earth had ever seen.  Well, second-most; the Empire the other Rebels always talked about seemed worse.  Personally, Bade had no idea they had taken over, but apparently they had.  Perhaps his contact would know about the Empire.
"So, Mr. Reclumen.  We meet again.  You said you had information for me?  Well, here I am.  What kinda secrets we talkin' about, and what kinda dough am I gonna need?"

OOC: Bade has re-activated his Soul Energy effect, partly so he's got the upper hand if Reclumen turns on him.  Also, I'd like Truth to RP Reclumen from now on.

OOC: I'll play Reclumen, but I need details about him.

Lloyd nodded, as he responded to Bailey.
"Alright then... Rosewater Academy, you heard of it before? Because that's our target." Lloyd stated, as he quickly checked the different options on his Mech, ready to take off whenever possible.

Carrie nodded, and then frowned.
"It's weird... I know I should have all these memories, of my past... But... I just can't remember them. It's not like they've been deleted; more like... They weren't there. Yet... I can recall the fact that it should be there... How is that possible?" Carrie asked with a frown, as she sighed.

[The Truth]

(Rose): "Approaching target. It's really quiet here..."

(Jared): "Kora, I have to leave. I have a lead on that weird glowing guy that threatened us after Chargas was killed. Hold down the fort."

OOC: Cruel (but not in a Kick the Dog way), suspicious, doesn't trust anyone, sees them as tools to further his plans.  There are few people he respects, ??1 being one of them.  (Notably, ??2 is not.)  He agrees with ??1's assessment of Bartok, but he also doesn't underestimate him the way Bartok does.  Notably, unlike ??1, he'd be willing to work with Bartok as long as Bartok remained useful to him--and he would eliminate Bartok the moment he wasn't.  Perhaps not directly, but let's just say loyalty isn't in his vocabulary; dedication is.  He's dedicated to working with ??1 since he's a valuable asset, and one unlikely to turn on him; Reclumen isn't loyal to ??1 for loyalty's sake, he's "loyal" because ??1 is likely to remain a permanently useful asset.  (??1 understands this mindset, which is why he's constantly finding ways to demonstrate how invaluable he is.)  He's very efficient in his speech, but when he's working with someone like ??1, or planning an operation, he's a bit looser.  Good tactician, but not brilliant on the scale of ??1.  Between the two of them, they'd be unstoppable, except Bartok's schemes keep getting in the way.  Currently, he's trying to gain intelligence on who the Queen is.  Oh, and if he happens to run into Bailey (in-person, since he wouldn't recognize the mech as hers in particular), he'll freak out, then try his hardest to kill her.

His mech is of the same basic model as Bailey's, but he's modded it to his own specs.  (I think specs on the basic version of the Imperial Recon Mech [IRM] series are included in Bailey's profile.)

"Alright, see anything?" Lloyd asked over a newly-coded comm channel.
