Bartok grabbed a fire extinguisher and sprayed it.

However, more fireworks simply exploded, once sending a flame onto the back of Bartok's pants. meanwhile, however, the place was filled with smoke and the spray from the fire extinguisher, effectively making a smokescreen.

[The Truth]

The automated fire sprinklers went off, shorting out the machine Leo was strapped to right as it turned on.
Leo screamed.

The water didn't exactly help clear the smoke, however, and it's purpose was served, as Lloyd had dashed in during that, and was now attempting to unstrap Leo.
Or, I could probably, you know, just carry him chair and all. But I'd need to destroy the connections to the machine, then.

Lloyd, finally having unhooked all the straps, grabbed Leo and put him on his shoulder, as he dashed out of the room in a hurry. He hoped that Bartok and the others wouldn't notice, as he ran down the hall, throwing more of the fireworks behind him as he went, as a distraction.

[The Truth]

Bartok pulled out a rocket launcher and fired it.

(Rose): "Um...should we pretend we can't hear that?"

(Adrian): "Probably best..."

Lloyd ducked as he ran, and the rocket crashed into a wall that he passed. Unfortunately for Rose, she wouldn't have a chance to be left out of that, as Lloyd just so happened to pass by her, and then grabbed her by the arm, and continued to run.
"Come on!" Lloyd said, as he figured this was not a safe place for any one of them. That and he had a feeling that she was important; one of the reasons he had also risked all this to save Leo as well.

*Adrian sweatdrops*
"Er...wait for me!"
*runs after them*

*Bartok gives chase, firing more rockets*

(Kora): "How is it I'm the only one that ever shows up for clas-what was that explosion?!"

Lloyd burst into that room with everyone following that moment.
"Gah, wrong room. Oh, hey." Lloyd said, as he saw Kora, and thought for a moment.
"Stay here." He told Rose, and ran over to Kora, and then suddenly put her over his other shoulder.
"We need to get out of here, now." Lloyd said, as he ran back to where Rose was, grabbed her hand again, and took off back down the hall, still dodging the explosions.

OOC: =P We're probably gonna explain the entirety of the forming of the SHIRA Rebels with this, I bet. xD

Slightly different than the backstory I had put for Lloyd, but it's Fi's Law. =P

(Jared): "What's going on?"

(Adrian): "Wait for me!"

Well, the real backstory is nothing like this, but this is probably funnier.

Also, Fi's Law is just what it sounds like... Oral tradition is one of the most flawed things, so what we wrote was likely not true. =P

"Come on, people trying to kill us, let's go!" Lloyd said to Adrian, as he continued to run.

(Leo): "The...princess..."

"Princess? What princess?" Lloyd asked with a frown, even as he continued to run.

OOC: Got an idea, and I would've done this anyway, but you gave me a perfect excuse. But I'd like rose to follow Lloyd for this, as it'll help the idea even more. However...

Would dead characters still be alive in this make-believe realm? So that it's seemingly close to the real backstory for how the SHIRA Rebels all met up? =P

Also, that's very weird. 0_o

OOC: I guess deceased characters could appear - you're in a pocket universe created by the Other, so anything is possible. And the laws of physics don't necessarily apply.

Lloyd frowned.
"Anyone know who he was talking about? Was he close with anyone here?" Lloyd asked, as he had no clue who this 'princess' was.

(Adrian): "He hung out with the quiet Luna girl a lot."

"I see." Lloyd said, and slid to a stop.
"You, whatever your name is." Lloyd said, as he addressed Jared, and put Kora down, as he handed Leo to Jared.
"Take them and get out of here. Maybe you'll be lucky and they won't pursue you, however unlikely that is. Don't look back... I'll go find this Luna girl, and get her to safety as well." Lloyd said, as he started to head back toward where they had just came from.

OOC: *Cue Rose following*

Jared nodded and went off.

Rose thought a moment, then followed Lloyd.

(Adrian): Heh...I guess I'll let Lloyd have her this time. *follows Jared*

"Huh?" Lloyd asked, as he noticed someone following him, and looked up, and frowned, as he stopped, and tackled Rose to the side, as a rocket flew past the spot where they had just been, and exploded on the floor a little past there.
"You followed me?" Lloyd asked with a frown, and then chuckled a bit with a smile.
"Thanks." Lloyd said, as he stood up, and then helped Rose up.
"But, just to say... This will be very dangerous. Please stay close." Lloyd said, and frowned, as he shook his head.
"This is just... weird. I don't know why." Lloyd said, and sighed, as he nodded to Rose.
"Let's go." He said, as he took an alternate route back toward where they had been before Lloyd's breakout of Leo.
