OOC: Sure; I don't really know how to effectively pull off the side plot; so assume that after the morning timeskip, everyone went looking, and found a cave where the coordinates that Carrie gave led to.

"Shuttle has cleared Earth's atmosphere. Course set for the moon."
"We have visual." Shil said. "The Other has appeared directly between the shuttle and the moon."
"Shuttle shields to max! Ion cannon fire on The Other. Randomize power of the blasts so he can't adapt." Jared ordered. "Roger. Ion cannon is firing."

"So; everything seems actually back to normal; aside from Shiza still being insane." Lloyd said, as he was still bugged by what Shiza had been saying, and closed his eyes, still trying to think of a way to fix that.

OOC: Does the "real" Carrie remember what's been happening to her robot, or is it more like what happened to Zoe in the Kane Chronicles?
IC: (Jared): "Hi, Lloyd. You're just in time...we're trying to get this rocket to the moonbase."


OOC: Just a warning...Act 3 is going to be a bit more serious. Even Shiza's getting toned down!

OOC: *Checks off 'yes' to response question* Called it. =P And it's not Zoe; it's some other odd name. I know, because I just finished book three a month ago. =P But I can't think of the name, so let's go with Zoe for now. =P

And I'm not entirely certain. She's been unconscious similar to whats-her-name; but the Soul Energy backlashed to her, so that'd either cause more amnesia, or cause her to know everyone; but not know how to react. But yes, it's a similar case overall; knew you'd pick up on the similarities the moment I put that last line in my explanation post. =P

Lloyd yawned, and nodded, and then froze, and looked at Jared as if he were insane.
"You WHAT!?" He asked, as he recalled what the Emperor and the Other had said about the conditions, and frowned.
"Oh, of all the times to do this." Lloyd muttered, as he closed his eyes, and rubbed his forehead.
"... Where are the others?" Lloyd asked, a frown on his face still.

OOC: I though it was Zoe, with two dots over the E. But I might be confusing her with another of Rick Riordan's characters.

IC: (Jared): "...he doesn't know, huh."

(Rose): *walks in* "Lloyd, try to remember...the Remnant launched a final desperate attack. We beat them, but were wounded again. You've been unconscious for a month."

(Shiza): "The Other is building up energy!"
(Shil): "Confirmed. He is preparing to fire."

(Chargas): "Cycle the shuttle's shield frequency."

Lloyd looked at Rose in shock, and then looked at the monitor with a shock, and then his eyes glazed over for some reason, and clenched his fist.
"We have a moon to destroy. Come on!" Lloyd yelled out, as he grabbed Rose's hand, and ran toward the mech bay quickly; he needed to make sure that everyone was safe this time, only stopping to grab his helmet, which he noticed had a built-in comm link now.
"Okay; Jared; this thing have space capabilities now?" Lloyd asked, his mech already on, and waiting for him to get to the bay, as he dashed into the cockpit quickly; and grabbed the controls, as he prepared to get out of the bay quickly; no matter what.

[The Truth]

(Jared): "First off, no, we haven't upgraded all the mechs yet. Our only spaceworthy mech is the Aetherion. And second...BLOW UP THE MOON?! That would be almost as bad as being hit with it! We need to force it back into orbit, not-"

(Soldier): "Sir. Please come outside." *holds up gun* "I really don't want to hurt you, sir. I have only the utmost respect for you, but...the men have been talking for a few weeks now. And the majority decision is...S.H.I.R.A. Squad can no longer be trusted. We're removing you all from power. I'm sorry."

*louder* "Fine. We'll step down from power."
